Welcome to the board, resistk, and thanks for the inside look. Confirms what many here suspected. There are still a few of the old timers (pre-RA) teaching, but the post-RA quality control has been spotty at best.

Good suggestion. Norwich also has a well-regarded distance Military History masters program.
The downside to the Norwich programs is the week-long residency. If you happen to be in the vicinity of Vermont it might make a nice vacation trip, but it kind of defeats the purpose of distance learning. I do understand the argument about the alleged benefits of "collegiality" or whatever you care to call it, but again, people who are that desperate for social stimulation probably aren't taking distance courses anyway.
