CHEA Dumps George Gollin as Director

“We thank these new and returning members of CHEA’s board,” said CHEA President Judith Eaton. “They join a distinguished roster of board members in their work on behalf of CHEA and its advocacy for higher education accreditation.”

I believe that's called a "negative pregnant."  Like if they ask if you shot the sheriff and the deputy, and you say "I did not shoot the deputy."  Tantamount to an admission that you did shoot the sheriff. 

Eaton thanks the new and returning board members, but she doesn't thank the old, expired, terminated, rejected members, like George Gollin. Tantamount to "good riddance, and don't let the door hit you on the way out."  Or as Rick Perry put it:
