Listing Socialist Profs at U Toledo - Armando Ramos - 09-05-2009 College Republicans Compiling List of Liberal Professors at Ohio School Quote:UT College Republicans President Matt Rubin, a junior majoring in political science and public administration, says the list is not an attempt to bash professors who have liberal ideas, but an attempt to speak out for students who may have been victims of political bias. RE: Listing Socialist Profs at U Toledo - ham - 09-05-2009 Quote:"How is saying 'President Bush is the dumbest president this country has ever had and should be hanged' improving the human condition?" While social-communists and social alchemists disgust me, these so-called conservatives make me want to throw up. I heard in Russia they are belaboring a law making it a criminal offense to deny the USSR both 'won' WWII and 'liberated' eastern Europe...maybe they could pool brains. Bush, Cheney and their henchmen were busy showering their bankrollers with hefty Iraq contracts; billions went unaccounted for in Iraq, but none seems to care and old George Doublejew signed gagging orders to prevent further investigation. How some mr. Rubin conservative is supposedly better than some mr. Goldberg liberal, you tell me... As far as poisoning the classroom with the stench of one's political affiliations, they are just envious that liberals and social alchemists outnumber them, but bible thumpers, traditional conservatives & other action figures are just more puppets from the same show...remember how Biden was instrumental in the 'terrorist laws' that Bush proposed...funny, eh? These conservatives love freedom but pass repressive laws as soon as they can... RE: Listing Socialist Profs at U Toledo - Ben Johnson - 09-06-2009 Quote:"We had a student who said, in an ancient Greece class, Professor William O'Neal claimed that America did not liberate Europe in World War II. However; it was freed by Charles De Gaulle and the free French, not U.S. Soldiers," Rubin said. I always thought The Arc de Triomphe was a nice French gesture to welcome German troops to Paris. After all the French have never had any use for it. RE: Listing Socialist Profs at U Toledo - Herbert Spencer - 09-06-2009 ham Wrote:How some mr. Rubin conservative is supposedly better than some mr. Goldberg liberal, you tell me... Political bias (i.e., rewarding correct thought, punishing incorrect thought) in the classroom is wrong regardless of which side does it. But the fact is that the socialists do it and do it and have been doing it for decades and nobody has been saying a word in protest, despite the inequity. I'm glad to see people finally standing up and fighting back against oppressive bigots. Leftists, socialists and marxist scum of that ilk believe that the ends justifies the means, and if you don't like it that's your tough luck. They aren't interested in playing "fair." They are interested in shoving their views down your throat and punishing anyone who doesn't swallow. Unless you like being on the receiving end of that sort of treatment you need to fight back. Today Toledo, tomorrow who knows? Keep up the good work, Rockets! Unless you like being on the receiving end of that sort of treatment you need to fight back. Objectivity doesn't exist. Academic books are in the vast majority of cases meant to support political biases and/or the party line the publisher has chosen. While some far left press might welcome a (limited) emphasis on Israel's misdeeds, they would probably censor tirades against the misdeeds of communism and social alchemy, and so forth. Traditional right-wing press may welcome a (limited) exposure of communism and social alchemy but will also require that you subscribe to the idea that lord Jetz invented the world from nothing in the year 6000BC... A secular university may tolerate barking up many trees, but the tree of academic corruption and the sordid underworld of favors and bribes between politicians, academics and bankrollers is NOT one of them. Why? Nobody lives in a vacuum. Universities & other bodies depend on big brother and/or donors to keep their lavish financial needs catered to. Peer review panelists vetting a controversial article that miffs big brother may find themselves under attack. A NZ professor who published an article supportive of Joel Hayward's freedom of speech triggered the termination of his job as a panelist (?) and the immediate DESTRUCTION of all the printed copies of that university journal, which was edited and republished without the unwelcome article. Nazi book burning? Not at all...an official inquiry seemed to explain that our world was still the best of all...Remember the Frenchwoman arrested for posting online "ah, the liar" directed to a politician? Did you know that several people were instantly arrested during an investigation of threats to Sarkozy, even if investigators admit they are clueless? That's a message, folks: they chose to machine gun across the diverse range of the presididen't political enemies. Did you see any major 'free press' exposing the hoax of the mulatto miss France? Have you ever counted how many atomic bombs were 'lost' or 'dropped in an emergency' in the sea or backyard next door? Any 'free mainstream press' barking up THAT tree? Even if those people are left off the hook without tangible consequence beyond hefty legal fees to set themselves free, it's a message... Will you heed it? |
