The former Pacific Western University, now known as California Miramar University, has been accredited by DETC.
Another kick in their shriveled scrotums for Bear and his clones! The DETC is rapidly rendering the pervert posse and wiki wankers obsolete by accrediting all their age old whipping boys. Maybe now the sphincter boys will have to start stalking the decadent RA "Gold Standard" universities that don't actually provide educations, instead of trying to force small and startup programs out of the marketplace.

Only one new one. They seem to lose more than they ever accredit. The crop of candidates was as good as I've ever seen - and only one.

I'm somewhat surprised that CalSouthern didn't make it....again.
I was about ready to enroll in their PsyD program a few months ago and they had me nearly convinced that DETC accreditation was in the bag.
I'm glad I told them that I would have to "wait and see" as the only thing in the bag would have been my head. Perhaps the third time will be the charm if they try again.

I think this was the first meeting after their bid was fully in place. I suspect with a few more "I"s dotted and "T"s crossed they may be approved in January. The last time they didn't stick around for the naxt meeting.
Robert Kennedy College is now off the list of applicants. I thought they would be a slam dunk.

DETC seem to have good noses at sniffing out problems. In this case, it's "Eau de Hecht" that permeates the CalSouthern/SCUPS landscape.
The fact that SCUPS are representing things they either know to be false or don't know to be true suggests you saw the tip of the Hecht iceberg. That's "fraud" any way you look at it.
Anytime you encounter something that doesn't add up from any school, accredited or not, you ought to head for the exit. If they are lying to you before you are even enrolled you know they are going to lie to you once they have taken your money. Once you've put in the time and money you are easy pickings, because they know you are reluctant to abandon your investment. But sometimes cutting your losses and moving on is the best strategy. In this case you were lucky because you hadn't bitten the hook yet. Move on down the road, and avoid this Hecht hell hole. The DETC knows their stuff, so take a cue from them.

Considering how DETC takes a hard line on how its applicants represent their pending accreditation status, I'd be very surprised if they weren't upset by this sort of thing. They don't even let their applicants state that they are applicants. I agree, it seems fraudulent for any college, RA or NA, to suggest to prospective students that accreditation is "in the bag" when it obviously was not even close.

I recall Anaheim University also went on and off before they were accredited. I think it has to do with the statistical surveys and compilations that are required. The schools apply, then find out they have to spend another year screwing around with surveys so they go off, then jump back on again when they have their ducks in line. So I would expect RK to be back again at some point down the road, because they do seem like a squared away operation.
I'd like to see them get accredited, mainly so we can chortle about another kick in a vital area for Bear. The clones, and particularly the idiot homo, civil rights violator Anal Contreras, have been taking bogus shots at RK for a long time. Contreras wouldn't know a legit program if it bit him on his fat, pimply ass.

The self-appointed "experts" apparently don't understand how the British system works. They are taking shots at U of Wales because it issues degrees based on coursework completed elsewhere, like Robert Kennedy College. Either these "experts" are complete idiots or they are committing the currently popular PC sin of "cultural imperialism," demanding that foreigners conform to American procedures.
Add me to the list of those who would like to see Bear and his scurvy crew take another size 12 in the shorts over this. Robert Kennedy College has been attacked by a mob of corrupt deviants who would be hard-pressed to even find Switzerland on a map. I think DETC is limiting the number of new accreditations so we can spread our joy at the repeated clone humiliations over a longer time.
