Kizmet approves of clarification of Oregon law - Little Arminius - 05-21-2009 It still doesn't seem all that clear but I'm sure it's okay, Kizmet approves. degreeinfo thread RE: Kizmet approves of clarification of Oregon law - Fort Bragg - 05-22-2009 Little Arminius Wrote:It still doesn't seem all that clear but I'm sure it's okay, Kizmet approves. They actually make the Levicoff degreemill/diplomamill distinction which is ridiculous considering they are synonyms. So what type of school did Levicoff get his PhD from, a degreemill or a diplomamill? The distinction that always comes to mind when I read anything Kizmet posts is whether he, she or it is correctly labled "educable mentally handicapped" or "developmentally disabled." They keep repeating the tale of the fake doctor with the fake degree who killed somebody. This would be in distinction apparently to all the real doctors with real degrees who kill people every day without either of them saying a word. As noted by the responder, practicing medicine without a license is illegal, regardless of whether you have a fake degree or a real degree. It's like saying Charles Manson killed all those people and he has tattoos, so let's ban tattoos and we won't have to worry about that any more. Obviously Klempner has something else on his agenda, namely protecting his new best friends--the wealthy higher education cartel--from cut rate competitors like he used to be. RE: Kizmet approves of clarification of Oregon law - ham - 05-23-2009 I still think the fact a medical quack practices without due licensure rests more with poor supervision by the countless regulatory bodies than else. In fact a degree in medicine does not make a physician...internships, state exams, guild memberships, licensure... Opening a medical practice isn't exactly like opening a pawn shop... Thinking about one, Thomas Chip White (owner of degreeinfo ) is a medical quack...he didn't even bother with a bogus degree, although a prestigious L.I.A.R or Millard Fillmore degree wouldn't hurt...he just has NO university degree...and still teaches physicians how to treat cancer with coffee enemas... Of course he is an honorary ass doctor... |
