There I am, relaxed and calm.

Suddenly this "Lester" guy picks up on an old thread I posted on elearners.com in relation to state-approved doctorates.

There we go again. It's "RA or the highway".

I choose not to pursue the matter any furhter, even though I have a lot of meanings on the subject, since I suspect him to be a degreediscussion poster, and to discuss with those guys is just to waste my time, totally.

This is bad. Elearners.com is a good site, where you can discuss rationally... until now.

The thing the strikes the most is the awe they are in while speaking of their gurus, pundits and mentors...people who ALL have well-packed closets, one way or another ('funny' family life brought public; gay teen pornography; several degree mills; financial misconduct; massage parlor addiction, etc ).
The second most striking thing is that these gregarious folks ignore how expendable they are...one day they can be hailed as "valiant fighters against degree mills" (that was me), the next day (or week or month ) "Nazi" or some other fabricated character assassination punchline, and they are gone...
As I said, it's the typical case of middle school yard bully, who may tolerate you if you cheer him while he abuses the nerdy kid, but you may just be next...
They can kiss my big fat one...

I'm not a member of elearners.com but it looks like a nice place to discuss distance ed issues. If they ever add a section dedicated to bashing Quinn Tyler Jackson I'll consider joining. If they won't do that then maybe they will add a section on distance ed personalities. That would liven things up a bit.

Lester and degreeinfo.com member tcord1964 both sound like assholes.
