John Bear, the old DL icon himself, shows that he hasn't lost a step in the digging-up-dirt on enemies department. There has always been some real tension between JB and Jimmy Clifton though I don't know the history of it.

well, i haven't read the whole story, but i suppose it isn't half-interesting in comparison with articles in the prestigious TIME detailing John Bear 's awesome career as pedlar of bogus degrees.
Of course good old righteous dr. John Bear didn't do any of that to afford living in a luxurious country house in hundreds of acres of Sussex countryside.
