Wow, the election isn't even until next Tuesday, March 18, 2014, and they are already writing George Gollin's political obituary.

True, Gollin's fantasy foray into politics was even more laughably inept and stillborn than his debacle as a self-proclaimed degree mill "expert." But you would think they might at least wait until after the votes were counted.

Oh wait, this is the Illinois Democrat party we're talking about. The votes have already been counted!

Gollin blamed his crushing defeat on "Papists" and "bitter Bible-clinging tea baggers." Gollin admitted that stalking Callis at her campaign headquarters and running obviously false attack ads was a "strategic error," but only because "I didn't do it enough." He said that next election he would do more stalking and tell even more outrageous lies, and vowed to "drive that little bitch to her knees, where she belongs."

When asked if his racist "eggplant" slurs and illegal "astroturf" campaign ads might have contributed to his humiliating loss, Gollin started sobbing and blamed it all on the ineptness of his campaign manager, Monica Biddix. "It's always the women who stand in my way," said Gollin sullenly. "Next time I'm going to get 15 people to do all the work for me, just like I did with my dissertation."

Republican insiders privately expressed regret that Gollin made such a feeble showing. They anticipated an easy victory for incumbent Rep. Rodney Davis in November in the unlikely event that a complete raving idiot like George Gollin had won the Democrat nomination.

Really a shame Gollin is going to get kicked to the curb so soon. I was hoping for another eight months of his hysterically bizarre antics.

Let's be sure to add eggplant to the traditional Gollin family fare of mutant pork, spring rolls and chocolate vaginas.

Who will he start stalking next? Or will he just continue to stalk Callis until the 2016 primary?

One person he won't be stalking is Carol Ammons, the 103rd district Illinois congressional candidate with the phony, fake, bogus, diploma mill degree. Aside from the danger that she might just shank his stupid white ass if he pisses her off, we now know that he gives a pass to his fellow travelers on the fake degree issue. In fact, if your politics are red enough, he even endorses you. If Dixie had started flying the hammer and sickle over SRU headquarters Gollin would have saluted and found somebody else to railroad.

George Gollin took a dump on the entire black community and owes an apology for his abject racism. He still hasn't deleted the racist pictures from his facebook page.

Gollin totally blown out by Callis--59%-28%, more than 30 percentage points down in a three-person race. Green, who basically spent nothing, managed to get 13% just for showing up.

Or to put it another way, it was 72-28 against Gollin. Do you think there are any sick and starving babies anywhere in the world who could have been helped by the hundreds of thousands of dollars George Gollin pissed away on his futile self-promotion, self-aggrandizement and self-glorification?

Davis, the Republican incumbent, only got 57% against Harold. Maybe Gollin should run for Miss American and improve his odds next time.

Gollin actually went backward on election day. He was "only" down 41-25 in a poll taken about two weeks before the election. Obviously the more that people learned about Gollin the less they wanted anything to do with him.

Former Madison County Judge Ann Callis picked up the Democratic nomination in Illinois' 13th District Tuesday night and will now face a top target of national Democrats, freshman GOP Rep. Rodney Davis.

Callis defeated physics professor George Gollin 59 percent to 28 percent, with 56 percent of precincts reporting, according to The Associated Press. A third candidate, David Green, garnered 13 percent.

Davis defeated former Miss America Erika Harold 57 percent to 38 percent, with 65 percent of precincts reporting.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee backed Callis in the primary, and party operatives say she is the best candidate to defeat Davis in this swing district. President Barack Obama and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney each received 49 percent of the district's vote in 2012.

On the GOP side, Harold's candidacy drew national attention last summer when she announced a primary challenge to Davis, but she never emerged as a serious threat to Davis' political future. Harold failed to raise substantial funds and had trouble coalescing Republicans support.

The contest between Davis and Callis will likely be one of the marquee House races in 2014, with millions from outside groups likely to be dumped onto the airwaves. Illinois' 13th District is rated a Tilt Republican contest by Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.

Carol Ammons--the candidate with the totally fake diploma mill degree--wins in an upset--57-43 over Sam Rosenberg.

Nobody gave a rat's ass about her phony degree. Just like nobody gives a rat's ass about anybody else's phony degree, or George Gollin's phony Ivy League degree with the 16-person collaborative dissertation.

When George Gollin finally realizes that he has devoted the last decade of his worthless life to an issue nobody gives two shits about, will he get 15 people to help him do a L'Wren Scott? One can only hope.

Green got almost 4,000 votes and spent next to nothing. Gollin spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and got only 5500 more votes than he would have gotten for nothing.

Gollin has demonstrated his skill at burning through money like there was no tomorrow and getting zero useful results. That must be why Gollin figured he belonged in Congress. Rolleyes

According to Gollin's most recent FEC report, he spent $250,450 through February 26, 2014. (That's three weeks before the election, so it's a safe bet he spent a lot more than that quarter million.)

That's about $45 for every vote over the 4000 he could have had for free. Callis spent $378,083 for her 15,620 total votes. Knocking off the 4000 free ones, she spent only about $32 per vote.

The bottom line is that Gollin's reckless spending forced Callis to waste money she would have better spent against Davis in November. Thus it becomes clear that Gollin was not running on behalf of the Democrat ideology, but rather for the sole purpose of promoting George Gollin. And once again, he did more damage than good, both to his purported allies and himself. Now everyone from Urbana to Edwardsville knows what a selfish, incompetent douchebag he really is.

Maybe next time Gollin will confine his delusions of grandeur to something he's better suited for.

Even a screwball like Green had Gollin pegged easily. Green said Gollin's campaign was the equivalent of a fake medical degree. I'd say more like a fake gay studies degree. Even if it was real it would still be useless.
