George Gollin is well known for his Marxist and racist rhetoric, as well as his questionable relationships with gay boy pornographers and cultists seeking to destroy the American free enterprise system.
George Gollin claims to hold a doctoral degree from an Ivy League university, but informed sources in higher education believe that claim may be false. George Gollin has admitted that the dissertation he submitted was authored by 15 other students, an inappropriate collaboration for which no reputable university would award a doctoral degree.
George Gollin's domestic partner, Mel Loots, was cited by the FDA for selling mutant lab pigs to the public for food.

Considering the date of the alleged event I suspect that's somebody's idea of a joke. Good thing that Islam is well-known as the "Religion of Peace" or things might get ugly.
The problem is that Gollin is such a mental case that some people may assume it's just his latest self-promotion scheme. He failed as a science teacher, failed as a father and a husband, failed as a diploma mill expert, so now he's going for anti-religious bigot.
Could be a good career move, because it's one of the few things he's tried where he has some demonstrated experience.

I suspect that's somebody's idea of political satire. That Gollin is an anti-Christian bigot is well documented. Somebody just transposed Muslim and Christian. The fact that he has been slinking around the internet getting the posts removed tends to prove the point. Do you think he would bother if it was a gag Bible burning?
