I still say old John missed his true calling. He could have made a fortune selling almost running used cars. Hell he would probably hand each customer a card for Honest John's wrecker service. The old boy would laugh his self silly all the way to the bank.

By the way where is the old man. I miss kicking his lying ass back and forth with true facts about his past. He really hated it when I quoted him. Smile

Under the Klempner Theory of Temporal Convenience there are no lies, only changes in circumstances. Everything he ever said was true when he said it, and if it's not it's only because circumstances have changed and you are being inordinantly picky for even noticing. Once you drive the car off the lot, it ain't his problem. Rolleyes

Yep, he does like to play fancy with the facts. One day he says apple pie is the very best and the next he laughs at anyone who buys apple pies. The man never shows any backbone to me. He will wobble wherever the wind blows best.

Well he can say what he will. He touted unaccredited schools, said they were good, and now denies that he ever did it. We all know how that old story went. He made money touting them and now makes his money and fame trashing those people who believed him. He was a damned fine con artist. Sad

He's like politicians...he says that "when I was there/involved/in charge/cashing cheques it was the best you could possibly think of", then it went downhill.

Nah.. not enough money in the used car racket. I would think more along the lines of commercial real estate in the everglades. Or better yet, he could work for one of those scam mortgage brokers we used to see during the real estate boom. You know, the kind that sold those junk mortgages to naive home buyers.
