If you need an accredited degree you don't need or want a Breyer State degree. If you have other needs Breyer might be fine. At any rate it's up to the individual to decide which of the legal choices he will select. It's not a group decision.
Why did Rich Douglas work at three unaccredited schools?
Why did Bear own several unaccredited schools and work for others?
As for me, I would use another school anyway. Breyer isn't one of my favorites.
As I said, It's an individual choice.
We are not saying that you should use any particular school, just that you can choose from the many legal choices, just as did Bear and Douglas when they collected those checks. If they can make the choices they did and be legit, others can do the same.
Breyer / Greenwich / VIU / IIAS / LIAR / CPU= Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Correct: he now puts them all into the same sack, shakes well, and says, "Less than Wonderful" while his pet troll 'Rich Douglas' puts to words what Bear wants to say but won't (Avoiding lawsuits) " Degree Mills." Apparently Douglas doesn't fear lawsuits. I guess they can't get what he doesn't have.
If CPU and Greenwich / IIAS, were little better than jokes, then why did Bear say they were good, recommend them to thousands of people, and why did he take the money from such (as he now claims) useless schools which provided degrees that are all but useless, according to him. Well, he now has a different agenda and these little schools and the people who listened to him no longer fit into his plans, so, they are trashed while he re-invents himself, again. He is a used car salesman who sells what is on the lot. It doesn't matter how good or bad it is, if it will crank or run, he is going to sell it to you and will say what is necessary to make the sale.
John Bear likes to let everyone know he has a VERY COMFORTABLE retirement. He can thank the people he sold all his trash to over the years. A man lives a life of integrity and deceny or he does not. Some prefer to make a lot of money and don't give a damn what they have to do or say to make it. Bear is one more.

Then the misleading accrediting agency name to make it sound like one of the regional etc. I don't know how exactly to say but this kind of in my view business model is deceitful. Almost like Columbia State University. But as I see they do have a license from their state to operate. If I'm not mistaken I read on one of the existing web sites that this is an religious exemption license.
Can some one confirm?

It is not really a burger.... and are people so silly they really believe that they can lose 40 pounds in a week with no dieting or exercise? Those promises are all over the place, but most of us are smart enough to know that it is simply promotion.

Maybe 1 or 2% of people may be unsure of what Breyer State is, but, 1 or 2% of people probably would be confused by the label on a lawnmower telling them not to stick their hands under it while it is running. Nothing can be made idiot proof, only resistant.
ALL schools put their best side forward, including the accredited ones. Bending the truth seems to be the American way of advertising. I notice John Bear always gave the positives to what he was doing, accredited or unaccredited.
So what do we have? A legal school, Breyer State, that is not one of the best colleges but it does have value and may meet the needs of some students and not those of others. I believe the vast majority of people know exactly what they are doing. They simply wish to bitch and moan if they do it one way and then change their minds later.
I have unaccredited degrees, 2, and accredited degrees, 2. All have met my expectations. And the reason for this? I knew what I wanted, why I wanted it, and what level of work I was willing to do, and how much I was willing to spend. My education was and is what was needed, for ME. Each person's needs are different and they MUST CAREFULLY look at the choices and make good decisions. But no one is entitled to make them for another person.
Excelsior may be right for one and Harvard for another. UOP would not be my choice, but it may be what another requires. Just as Breyer State is not a choice I would make but another person might well be pleased with a degree from them. It just depends on what you want, why you want it, and what you need. Unaccredited degrees are seen as positive by 97% of the Human Resource Managers, that's not bad at all.

Most of us KNOW they are not, and I seriously doubt ANYONE could be "mislead" into thinking they were enrolling in a "state" college.

Ha Ha Ha I'm glad that you know these are not States :-).
I'm replying to an ignorant comment that Breyer is not a state and that every one knows that and its not misleading. For that reason I provided a list of real universities with the word State in their name but actually not named after any US State.
If you read my earlier reply you will see the smiling face next to adding them to the flag.
What I think is that State in the name of unrecognized university is misleading. Remember Columbia State University.
Are you a Breyer graduate or their employee or something?
And there is noting wrong with working as a physics teacher. A specially if the position is in a real academic establishment.
I never have seen Breyers material or spoke to one of their instructors so I have no idea what is the level and quality of the education they provide. I simply don't like their misleading in my view name and accreditation etc.
It apears that there is a lot of negative info on the web about them.
Its a business if they are legitimate than who am I to deside.
What I stated is my initial opinion and noting more I'm not on a mission or hunt.
