The court register shows a Case Management Conference scheduled for 10/08/2014. I wonder what progress Okpala has made getting his defendants in Florida and Virginia served? I don't see any Answers, Demurrers or Defaults on file, so I suspect the answer is none. I would expect an OSC re Dismissal to be coming down the pike shortly.

It looks like the court has twice rejected his application to have the summons published. These are the kinds of problems in pro per plaintiffs run into when dealing with the convoluted "justice" system. You get all the justice you can afford, so if you can't afford to pay lawyers who either know what they are doing or know the judge you usually won't get any.

No Ramos, the first time this application was submitted, the court clerk forgot to collect $20 filing fee and so the processing did not go through. It was resubmitted but this time with $20 and it was returned with a reason to submit the application for each defendant. This was just refiled on August 29th.
I don't think there is a question of denial of this application but just a matter of paperwork. Since the defendants cannot be located, serving them by publication stands to be the only option.
Charisma has a lawyer but have decided to use its lawyer should this case goes to trial. The university legal department is currently dealing with this case now.
Every evidence to win this case is with Charisma University. It will be just be in few months that this case will end in favor of Charisma university. The university is determined to bring justice to this case.
