Yes it would. But then again, Bear has always been selective as to what he could support or denounce. If he did it, he supported it, especially the money he made. If he had no financial interest in a school it was much easier for him to dislike it.
Hell, Bear liked L.I.A.R. enough to sell it and then take payments from the new owner. He got $30 every time the new owner sold a milled degree. I wonder what being paid off by a degree mill owner is called? Maybe creative financing?

London Institute for Applied Research:
"....After the demise of the London Institute, crudely printed L.I.A.R. certificates have been offered for sale from an address in Holland. There is NO CONNECTION with the original."

"The present author (one of the original group) assisted in selling the L.I.A.R. business to a gentleman in Holland, who carries it on for personal gain. I have been unable to stop him from using my name on the diplomas. He says he will send me $30 for each one he sells-money I will GLADLY accept and donate to good charities."
--John Bear, Ph.D.
One story for 1980, another in 1982. I guess things do change with time, and the truth seems to be the victim.

Surely you don't think our good friend JB would slip....hmmmm, maybe about $25 in his pockets and give $5 to that wonderful charity?
You know what?? so do I. I figure the old boy kept much and gave little. Maybe he likes those $150 bottles of wine also. And you know what they say, "Charity begins at home."

are all ravens truly black?
As mentioned before I never read the book.
Is it posible they simply didn't knew about this outfits or more than that maybe there was some kind legal issue, lawsuit or pending legal action?
At this time I'm simply guessing.
Dr. Bear state a few times about some entities that he left them alone pending their request or more than that pending posible legal action if my memory serves me well.
