I don't know the lady, but many Poles are Catholic. In fact, Hitler killed more Catholics than Jews in Poland.
Fact is that this Loots woman's bigoted comments are offensive to all Americans, whether Catholic, Jewish or any other flavor. That she can use a religious slur and still keep her job is a testament to the entrenched bias in higher education against Christian religions.

There are people who claim Hitler killed more homosexuals or gypsies or communists than you name it...
Yet I read a theory according to which Hitler was the mastermind of a homosexual cabal...
Other popular theories want Hitler in cahoots with the Pope...see Jack Chick [before you laugh at it, remember he's a powerful opinion leader].

Latest: UIUC scandal spreads to the Athletic Department. Is the Physics Department next? If it happened right under George Gollin's big nose there's a good chance he doesn't know anything about it.

The scandal at George Gollin's (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) employer UIUC continues to spread, and Gollin continues to remain mum on his role. So far the self-appointed expert and super sleuth has made no comment on any of this, not even his wife's part, if any, in this scandal.

It's a safe bet nobody was asking for preferential treatment to get into one of Gollum's classes. Possibly a public safety issue as his students rushed to the exits when they saw him scratching his ass and picking his nose.

All these incredible conflicts of interest at the University of Illinois! It’s just astonishing that a major university could be beset with so many palpable, blatant, flagrant conflicts of interest. How could all these conflicts of interest exist?
Isn’t there someone among the administration at the University of Illinois who is responsible for preventing these sorts of conflicts of interest from happening?
Let’s take a look at the management hierarchy at the University of Illinois. Surely they must have someone who is in charge of preventing all these conflicts of interest.

Maybe she thought it was like when she sold all those hundreds of mutant lab pigs for food, and that she was supposed to spread conflicts of interest, not prevent them. Maybe she doesn’t really know what her role is there.

I bet she really enjoyed that little breakfast session with University Counsel Steve Veazie. Had to have been more fulfilling than noshing on a little spring roll with George. I wonder if Veazie told her that if the university ever gets hit with nationally publicized conflict of interest scandal that the University Conflict of Interest Officer is the one who is going to get blamed for it?
Do you think he told her the one about how every dog gets one free bite? The problem for Melanie Loots is that she’s already had enough bites for a twelve course meal. How many mutant lab pigs sold for food? How many “dirty Papists” on Ash Wednesday?
In the face of this embarrassing national conflict of interest scandal, shouldn’t the University of Illinois take some remedial action? How is it that people in academic leadership positions at UI lacked sufficient awareness and sensitivity to these issues? Was the University Conflict of Interest Officer not doing her job?
