Relative newbie Sean points out the obvious to Gollum.  Gollum is irrelevant, tilting at windmills, devoted to self-aggrandizement, etc.

Gollum responds as usual, making personal insults, misstating the poster's point, asking for proof that the poster is who he says he is, repeating the retarded argument that he is somehow making the medical profession safe and ignoring that it is already illegal to practice medicine without appropriate licensing.  

In short, the usual stupid, irrelevant garbage Gollum has been spewing for ages.  When is this ridiculous turd going to join Janko in the hereafter?

Don't you think that by this day and age most of these unaccredited mills you are chasing are weak and already on the run?

The "clever" mill operators smelled the dogs and heard the goose-steps years and years ago (late 90's at least) and have transformed into something else.

Shouldn't you be looking at what that "something else" might be? Isn't that where the real investigation is?

I know you get lots of newspaper and other media praise for what you do, and it's always nice to be viewed as the new "sheriff" and get the praise. But isn't it outdated and behind the times and actually helping those who adapted?

Think about Darwin...things adapt to survive.

So while you (and others) hunt the leftovers and get glory for it, you are actually benefiting those who adapted enough to escape your, and others, vision.

Just my opinion! I'm a scientist from Florida, not an expert.

I would not characterize the small number of enforcement actions for mail and wire fraud as carried out by those who "goose step." Look over the material describing St. Regis.

You appear to be suggesting that legitimate postsecondary institutions (many of which hold recognized accreditation), and which are staffed by expert faculty with advanced degrees, are the "something else." That is just silly.

That Sean made a wrong move.
You NEVER make ANY claim online, as innocent as they may sound (to you).
First, the internet is the worst place.
Second, you do not have to prove anything to anyone, especially online; the individual you are addressing may very well be a liar, pretender, impostor or some other kind of degenerate or psychotherapy reject: you don't want to have to answer to these people, but...
Third, if you make any claim, you invite further scrutiny and possibly character assassination; while you deal with inquiries you are more likely to make other statements that will beg further scrutiny and so forth in a circular manner. Character assassination may very well occur irrespective of any claim, but claims just make it easier.
Fourth, you may unwittingly disclose details that may help stalkers and degenerates to identify you. Maybe you think they are your friends now, but tomorrow or next month, who knows; once you are identified or disclose significant details to your 'online buddies', there is no way back. Maybe they will invite you to 'put up or shut up' or other kind of games: tell them off, the internet is a joke. Online feuds have resulted in the termination of employment; in terrorist attacks against property; in death threats and in death itself in rare occasions; in people harassed to the point they had to relocate and generally in very unpleasant and stressful situations.
Do you need all that?

Gollum doesn't seem to understand that doctors and engineers are already licensed and regulated and taxed and fucked with by the government.  Or else he does understand that but figures nobody else does, so he lies about it.

He got the intentionally misstated argument, the personal insult, the bogus “doctors with milled degrees killing people” justification, and the threat of stalking.  

The only thing missing was the blatant lie about easily proven facts.  For example, the lie that Gollum’s defamatory web material was not ordered off his website by the UIUC admin.  Or the lie that Gollum’s wife was not cited by the government for violating federal law by selling lab experiments for food.  

Gollum still hasn’t denied that his adult daughter is a lesbian, or that his wife calls Catholics “papists.”  Maybe Sean can work that into his next question, and earn the perfecta.

The main reason Gus didn’t ban Sean is that Gus thinks Gollum is a nob too.  Gus only tolerates Gollum because, now that Janko has joined the choir invisible, Gus needs all the pathetic obsessive/compulsive losers he has to keep posting nonsense day after day.

that person claimed to be a 'scientist' and thus invited further investigation...you never make claims online.
