There would seem be issues as to whether they "took" drugs or were surreptitiously given drugs, and therefore whether whatever sex they had with Cosby was or was not consensual. Where I agree with the "stupid" part is why they waited several decades before going public. Apparently they feared ratting him out and ending up blacklisted in the entertainment industry. Such fears were probably realistic, but then the question is whether their honor was worth what surely was the relatively small amount they did make as entertainers. So as the old joke goes, we've already established that, now we're just haggling over the price.
