Vote for George Gollin--because there aren't enough ass-scratching, nose-picking, armpit sniffers in Congress
Being the laughingstock of higher education is not enough for stalker George Gollin. Now the Marxist degenerate wants to be the laughingstock of Congress too.
Considering the collection of turds and reprobates who currently occupy seats there, that's a mighty ambitious goal. But can you think of a better non-job for somebody who needs 15 people to do all the work for him?
Tickets are $65. No word on whether tickets upwind from Gollin are more.
Quote:Speculation over Callis’ political aspirations begins as 2014 Congressional race nears
April 25, 2013 11:53 AM
By Bethany Krajelis
Madison County Chief Judge Ann Callis’ name has been mentioned as a potential candidate for Illinois’ 13th Congressional District.
Callis did not return messages seeking comment, but others have taken to the World Wide Web to speculate that she might throw her name in the running for the seat that Republican Rodney Davis currently holds.
The Champaign County Democrats’ website described Callis and George Gollin, a professor at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, as “candidates mentioned for Representative in Congress (13th District)” in a post about a dinner the group is hosting on Sunday in Champaign.
“The focus of the evening will be meeting and hearing from Democrats who are considering seeking our nomination for statewide and federal offices,” the post states.
Al Klein, chairman of the Champaign County Democrats, said in an email that Gollin will speak at this weekend’s event and that Callis “will be in attendance.”
Pointing to an Illinois Judges Association document on “ethical considerations surrounding judicial political activity,” Klein said sitting judges can attend political gatherings and “engage in political activities on behalf of measures to improve the law, legal system or administrative of justice.”
His careful response is likely the result of the fact that if Callis announces herself as a candidate for Congress, she would at some point have to step down as a judge, a position she has held since 1995 and was retained to in the 2012 election.
Canon 7 of the Illinois Judicial Code of Conduct states “a judge shall resign from a judicial office upon becoming a candidate for a non-judicial office either in a primary or in a general election.”
Besides the Champaign County Democrats website, recent posts on a political blog and an area man’s Facebook page suggest Callis might run for Congress.
The political blog – PoliticsToday – earlier this month had a post about the upcoming race for the 13th District and opined that among other potential candidates, “the top recruit for the Democrats may very well be Madison County Circuit Court Chief Judge Ann Callis, who was wooed during inauguration weekend.”
Noting that “none of these candidates have announced,” the blog post lists the following as other potential candidates: David Gill, a doctor was has previously run for office; Champaign Mayor Don Gerard and Brendan McGinty, a former member of the Champaign County Board.
Also this month, Craig Walker, a Champaign County resident and vice president at IFS Securities, put this post on his Facebook page:
“Lunch with Ann Collis [sic] a potential D candidate for Congress in 2014. She is a Chief Judge, passionate about the issues, and seems to have what it takes to win. Time to gear up for 14!”
Walker’s April 17 post, which appears to have since been taken down, tagged Andy Quarnstrom, the recently elected Champaign Township Supervisor, and Patricia Avery, the executive director of the Champaign-Urbana Area Project, at Big Grove Tavern.
The upcoming race for the 13th District isn’t the first time that Callis’ name has been floated as a potential candidate for office outside the judiciary.
In 2011, there was speculation that she might run for the 12th Congressional District.
The chairman of the local Democratic Party put out a statement on Callis’ behalf back then, explaining that after receiving strong encouragement and seriously considering it, she decided not to run for Congress.
And earlier this year, a few local attorneys told The Record that Callis would be a solid candidate to fill the soon-to-be vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
Callis in January declined to comment as to whether she had any interest in applying for the federal judgeship.

Vote for George Gollin--he knows about Death Panels first hand!
A violence-prone Marxist college prof with delusions of grandeur? Yup, that's the kind of guy we want in Congress! With what he's done for health care in Liberia he's just the man to be running the Obamacare Death Panels!
Vote for George Gollin: Hey Libtards, he's just like you!
I'm wondering which among his many well-documented antisocial acts appeals most to the libtard community?
• 1,280 posts at a website operated by a gay boy pornographer?
• Sued multiple times in federal court for extortion, stalking, defamation, computer hacking, and civil rights violations?
• Admits his dissertation was authored by 15 buddies and is not his independent work?
• Domestic partner Mel cited by FDA for selling 386 mutant lab pigs to the public for food?
• Likes to "collaborate" with homosexual Alan Contreras, an adjudicated civil rights violator?
• Listens to the 'suck my dick fuck my ass song' with his lesbian teenage daughter?
• Makes death threats, posts other people's SSNs online, impersonates law enforcement, etc., etc., etc.?
Vote for George Gollin! A crackpot destroying America faster than a pressure cooker!
Clearly a political genius...preempting all his opponents by calling himself a "crackpot" first. They will have to settle for "dumbass," "jerkoff," "scumbag" and "asshole."
Stands to reason that a complete fraud like George Gollin would be endorsing another complete fraud like global warming. It was only 15 minutes but I'm sure it seemed a lot longer to the chumps who paid $65 to see it.
Quote:Dems meet potential Davis challengers

CHAMPAIGN — Champaign County Democrats got to meet two potential candidates for Congress in the 13th District on Sunday night, but they heard from only one of them.
George Gollin, a University of Illinois physics professor, spoke for more than 15 minutes at the Democrats' annual spring dinner, touching on topics ranging from gun laws to poverty.
But Ann Callis, chief judge in Madison County and another potential challenger to freshman U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Taylorville, stayed largely silent, speaking to small groups at individual tables but forgoing an opportunity to address the 150 or so in attendance.
Once Callis announces for Congress, she'll have to step down from her $181,479-a-year judgeship.
"I was invited and I'm happy to be here," was all Callis would say for the record Sunday.
It was up to Gollin to speak about a possible Democratic Party primary election next spring.
"I am considering running for office, as is Judge Callis. If we both decide to run, it will be a spirited primary," he said. "And then by mid-March, voters will have chosen one of us to stand against Representative Davis. The judge and I come from opposite ends of the district. If we run, I will expect that next year we will have a friendly discussion about who would like to be the rock and who would like to be the hard place. And then we will come at Mr. Davis from the east and from the west and return him to private life."
Bloomington physician David Gill, who lost to Davis last November and is considering a fifth congressional bid in 2014, did not attend the dinner.
Also Sunday, the Democrats heard from two Democratic state senators considering running for statewide office.
Sen. Mike Frerichs, D-Champaign, acknowledged that "I may be looking at the treasurer's office," but went no further addressing his aspirations in the 2014 election.
Sen. Kwame Raoul, D-Chicago, who succeeded Barack Obama in a Chicago South Side Senate district in 2004, is considering running for attorney general if Lisa Madigan decides to run for governor next year. He made no mention of an interest in statewide office during his speech, instead reciting his personal and legislative biography.
Like Frerichs, however, Raoul made a special point of bemoaning political attacks on public employees during the current legislative debate about changes to Illinois' public pension system.
"As we approach pension reform, we have to realize that the employee has been constantly making their payment to the pension funds, constantly over decades. We can't approach this problem by vilifying, as certain Republicans do, the employee," Raoul said, drawing loud applause from the crowd, which included many University of Illinois employees. "It is one of the more difficult decisions that need to be made, but I think it needs to be made with the voice of the employee at the table. We have to make smart decisions, but the decision-making has to be an inclusive process that recognizes the fact that the public employee has dutifully been making their payments toward their retirement."
But the longest speech of the night's was Gollin's, who addressed gun laws, education spending, jobs and infrastructure spending, university funding, energy funding, climate change, and other topics.
He joked, "I'm a professor, I like to talk," but concluded his address by saying that there are a large number of underprivileged families in Champaign-Urbana and that "poverty is as great a peril to the United States as an irrational denial of climate change."
"There is a tendency on the right," Gollin said, "to blame the poor for their desperate circumstances, to identify poverty as fit punishment for an imagined life of irresponsibility. This is a cruel and false moral calculus and it ignores the toddler who relies on his mother for food, shelter and clothing and protection. It is indecent to claim that her child will receive adequate care through visits to emergency rooms, or that coming from an impoverished environment, her son will thrive in school or that her daughter will become a physician, just because the American dream says she can."

When the voters in Chi and the rest of the Illini state Google ol' George and read these post's which have just "flamed" him...he will have as much chance getting elected as a snow-cone has in HELL!...ROTFLMAO!...Just like in physics...karma dictates that for every action, their is an equal and opposite reaction...enjoy George
Looks like Gollin's YouTube fan club has been busy. As a speaker Gollin really has a way of getting his audience on their feet....but it's because they are all running for the exits!
I sure wouldn't want to disappoint him. Some people call it "vitriol," others just call it "the truth."
Quote:Tom Kacich: UI prof ready for vitriol if he campaigns

George Gollin, a potential Democratic candidate for Congress in the 13th Congressional District, said he's prepared for negative ads, dirty tricks or anything else thrown his way should he get into the race.
There was some measure of that last year when Republican Rodney Davis ran against Democrat David Gill in the district that stretches from Champaign-Urbana southwest to Madison County near St. Louis. So-called independent groups poured millions of dollars into the race, much of it spent on harsh, negative television ads. There were also "trackers" who trailed the candidates, tried to goad them into provocative exchanges and constantly videotaped their responses.
Davis won that race, and likely will face a similar onslaught next year when interest groups will attack his congressional voting record.
Gollin, although he has never run for public office before, said he had a similar experience when he investigated diploma and credentials fraud, and worked with members of Congress to crack down on them.
The reaction, found on numerous websites, has been all kinds of vitriolic attacks on Gollin, his family and the University of Illinois.
"If someone says something negative about me in a political context, it would at the worst just be more of the same," said Gollin, a Champaign resident who is a professor of physics at the University of Illinois. "I can't imagine it would be similar to that level in a political election."
The attacks, Gollin believes, are from people involved in credentials fraud.
"They published doctored photographs, published my Social Security number, my vehicle identification numbers and other personal information," he said.
Gollin is still looking into running for the Democratic nomination, but he has set up a website, is accepting campaign donations and gave what he said was his first political speech Sunday night.
He's even preparing for a summer of meetings, political picnics, parades and more.
"I love that stuff," he said. "I'm just so happy talking to people, hanging out. I really do enjoy it."
He said he'll decide whether to run either this summer or fall and said if he does run, he will take unpaid leave from his job at the UI for the spring semester of 2014.
Some more of Gollum's fiction. How many lies can you spot on his campaign website?
Who would know more about "educating our children" than the Gollin Klan, where it takes two PhDs to produce one foul-mouthed lesbian cheerleader?
Quote:Scientist, Teacher, Watchdog
My family and I have lived in Champaign since 1989. I teach physics at the University of Illinois, and work in national education and science policy. I am also considering running for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ten years ago, I came upon a gang of Americans selling visa services into the Middle East, and fake college degrees—including MDs—all over the world. I published a report about them and, to my alarm, found myself in a fight. There were threats to my family and rumblings about lawsuits, arson, and gunfire. The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security took an interest and sent the perpetrators to prison. We discovered that members of their circle were involved in child pornography and human trafficking.
Two members of congress learned of the case and drafted legislation to suppress credential fraud, asking some of us in higher education to help. The bill was well received by the House of Representatives. But a senator whose party had been receiving money from the largest diploma mill in the United States objected. He gutted most of what we had created.
This is how our government fails us.
I am convinced that we can change this, that we can carry our ideas to Washington and drive them past gridlock, past partisanship, and past the river of money that flows through our politics. We have seen audacious goals succeed elsewhere: South Africa, Northern Ireland, Eastern Europe. It can be done here.
Our birthright is to dream boldly. It is within our power to educate our children, develop clean energy, care for the elderly and infirm, and fight corruption. Working together, we can change everything.

GoDaddy and a
PO Box???? Sounds like the exact sort of highly suspect arrangement that those unsavory diploma mills perpetrate! What do the Friends of George Gollin have to hide???? Wouldn't a reputable operation have a
real address??? Some sort of nefarious activity under foot here?????
Phone number 217-979-1104 tracks back to a
cell phone! Again, what sort of reputable operation uses a cell phone as a primary number? Another highly suspect circumstance associated with a fly-by-night operator.
See how it works, George? Your little "campaign" hasn't even gotten off the ground and you already look like a complete flake, or more of a complete flake than you already looked like.
Better hire a bunch of good lawyers and accountants because somebody is going to make double damn sure that you are complying with
all the campaign finance laws.
The picture of that little baby...that child in Africa is so very sad...I am numb and almost feel like tears...just devastating...that little baby...one of God's precious, precious children...
