DL Truth: Distance Learning Truth

This guy disappeared, right? Did he do an into-thin-air thing? Did he bail out of a 727? And why does anyone here care?

Gregg "Elmer" DesElms was a notable figure in DL and a frequent poster for the RA or No Way faction for several years. Around the time of the DI/child porn scandal, DesElms was a DI moderator who told everyone that the theatre wasn't on fire and to stay in their seats. A short time later, after the theatre had burned to the ground, Elmer quietly vanished and some DI hack posted that he was seriously ill.

Despite the fact, IMO, that Elmer was a total asshole, why is it so suprising that people on a DL forum are curious about what he's doing now? After all, he has a huge chunk of time on his hands since he no longer spends 20+ hours/week posting self-serving, long-winded b.s.

Now Gregg, as well as any other DI/DD clique member, should mind the skeletons in his own closets, before trying to rattle someone else's.

His disappearance has no real meaning to me though I can certainly see why people who were bashed by him and his pals might want to know which bush he lurks behind. Good riddance I say.

I think the circumstances surrounding Elmer's disappearance just confirmed something that we all knew ... Gregg DesElms is a hypocritical, dishonorable POS and a gutless coward to boot!
