And speaking of nakedness and eros and Christianity . . .

. . . one of the things that I have long wondered about are the ancient Greek and Roman sculptures in the Vatican Museum. The originals were of course all naked. But later-day Popes had fig leaves installed to cover the private parts of the men, but not the boys. And what of the teenagers? Some yes, some no. How did this happen. I can envision the Pope marching up and down the aisle, pointing at each one: "Yes. Yes. No. Yes. No. Hmmmm, what do you think Cardinal Benotti?"

Eros was a Greek God, as I'm sure John knows, or should know. Since Christians don't worship these ancient Gods, why does Bear put them down together with Christianity? Obviously he is trying to make a homosexual connection to Christians. If he wants to know about the life style he could check with several of his pals at DI. They have first hand experience with that way of life. John might find it best to drop this Eros / Christianity thing, he's in too deep and will get burned. His cute little pin pricks, hints, and smirks might not be well received by some of the more aggressive Christians.
