Scumbag Huffman "Retires" from Wiki after Sockpuppet Charge

Imagine being too big a scumbag to be a Wikipedia editor. Considering the kind of lowlife and perverts who operate at Wikipedia, it's hard to get any lower.

Notorious Bill Huffman is the guy whose only justification for living is to stalk poor Derek Smart because Smart made a video game that Huffman couldn't figure out how to play.

In fact Huffman went so far as to establish multiple accounts at Wikipedia just so he could continue to harass and threaten Smart.

Now Huffman has "retired" as a Wikipedia editor (or at least from editing under his real name).

This started in April 2010 when Cla68 brought a sockpuppetry case, a request for independent review, and an arbitration request against Hufffman.

In June 2010 Huffman was warned:

...In conclusion, you shouldn't be using Wikipedia as part of your personal feud with someone. You're fortunate (arguably) that you were't banned for using an unauthorized sock account and for being evasive when asked to come clean about it. So, stay away from the Derek Smart article and don't do anything further on Wikipedia which appears to be aimed at carrying on your personal battle with the guy.

Huffman "retired" immediately thereafter, then (naturally) began a harassment campaign against Cla68.

Bill, your participation on the arbcom case is not helping. Based on your past experience with Cla68, it has the appearance of a petty grudge match, with Wikipedia:Harassment as your goal. Please take a step back and think about this.

Of course nothing keeps Huffman from continuing to "edit" under any of his other aliases at Wikipedia, nor does it keep any of his fellow stalkers and shills from doing the same. Still, a flush in the right direction for Wikipedo.

Like many of the DI/DD stalkers, Huffman is just another bitter old man who realizes he is coming to the end of his string with a big zero in his score book. He is taking out his anger and frustration on people who have actually accomplished something with their lives.

And creating and marketing a video game that doesn't quite work is still a far greater achievement than anything Huffman ever managed in his useless life. Huffman's picture should be in math books next to the definition of "empty set."

And the fact is Smart is correct, when you are forthright about the situation (as he is) it really is neither here nor there to the 99% of normal people in the world. Smart makes games, he sells games, he makes money, and--the part that assholes like Huffman really hate--he has a helluva lot of fun doing it.

A wretched little prick like Huffman wants everyone else to be just as miserable as he is. He can't abide anyone--especially anyone with dark skin--enjoying life and being successful when he is neither.

If Smart had sat through six or eight years of bullshit RA ethnic studies classes and regurgitated a dissertation about how Mr. Whitey was keeping down the brothers, then Huffman would salute.

That Smart just went out and made a success of himself in the free market without first getting approval from all the over-the-hill losers like Huffman just galls him to no end.

It's funny to read the bitter, illiterate whining, passive aggressive insults and lame protestations from Huffman, to all of which Atama immediately calls bullshit:

I've made the transition in my mind and no longer consider myself a Wikipedian. Cla68 conducted a most brilliant campaign, Outing, COI, SPI, notice boards and even a request to arbCom. Nothing of substance, everything closed in what could reasonably be considered in my favor and against Cla68's request, yet brilliantly successful. (I don't really know about the arbCom thing. I suspect that will just be dropped since I'm no longer around.) Anyway, congrats Cla68, you win I lose. My only consulation [sic] is that I can be glad that I'm me and not you. My view is that Cla68 is no longer my problem because I feel that I'm no longer a member of the Wikipedia community. He is a good editor but his campaign waged against me has left me scratching my head why? And with the firm conviction that there is something wrong with Cla68. According to Wikipedia's own rules, their pervert editors are allowed to "avoid real-world consequences from their editing."

I saw something funny on the discussion page for Derek Smart stating that the war between Huffman and Smart was rated as being in the top 10 "lamest edit wars on Wikipedia."

I myself gave up on Wikipedia because its like, you can argue with the entire confederacy of dunces there but what do you win in the end?
