Scams "Fascinating" Says Bear
Klempner Wrote:My main problem with snopes is that there are so many fascinating scams described and exposed there that I get caught up in reading about them.

So is Klempner also fascinated by, say, the "global warming" scam?  The "Gollin is an expert" scam?

No, apparently he is charmed, enchanted and captivated by what the cops on the old "Dragnet" show used to call "bunco artists."  Although there surely are some cynics out there who might simply call it "Bear's next higher ed project research."

It takes a scam artist to be fascinated with scams.

How dare Mr.Bear make a career out of exposing frauds! Doesn't he know that in this country is built upon the foundation that anyone anywhere should be able to buy their credentials from a diploma mill? It's in the constitution!

Considering that he got rich creating a diploma mill in the truest sense and now he has a change of heart and is destroying any and all institutions which he considers to not be legitimate. This including some schools like Breyer State University which are merely unaccredited and not even diploma mills, I would say that this outrage over Mr Bear's behavior is well justified.

Bear pocketed $50.000 in 1974 or whatever selling phony degrees...what's your share for defending him?

I'm not defending him. I am highlighting the hypocrisy of any of you wailing on someone who has done more in his lifetime to combat diploma mills than all of this site's registered users combined. If you want to make the academic world a better place, I suggest you do something more than launch an all out character-assassination war against someone who has actually done some good. Maybe he deserves it. However, for every accusation and creative nickname you have for this guy, what great strides have you actually made in making the academic world more honest, supporting the plight of legitimate students, consumers and employers? Rhetorical question. The answer is obviously: NONE. You are useless and have done nothing more than to hurt the cause you claim to support with your infantility.

You render your own points invalid by resorting to ad hominem rather than sticking to the issues. You don't even know what the issues are (since the issues are based in reality and your though process is not). Nor do most people who perchance come across this site because you can hardly get through a single paragraph without singing about your undying love for child pornography. It's amazing that the Feds haven't raided the owners of this site.

Wow! You sound like sweet sixteen forever...
It's you spending hours dreaming in front of John Bear's and professor fifteen's posters...
Poor cretin.
Bear made a fortune with a row of unaccredited schools he now refers to as mills; professor fifteen got a government job...pretty neat considering they've sailed on the back of incompetent nobodies like you who waste their time having a crush on them and worshiping them.
Unlike you, I have no 'cause'...I come online to have a laugh...

Cogito gets banned? Certainly he's shown far less than other posters (assuming they are actually different people). Or is it his targets?

There must be a ounce of logic in one's reasoning. He/She/It (and its cohort of aliases cogito ergo...) had none. It is also telling when such trolls conveniently ignore points that do not fit within their homoerotic view of worshiping people who actually use ant-brained midgets like them to further their agenda: selling one more guide, putting a smoke screen over his past as a serial millist, get visibility and a government job...what's left for the dummies? A ten percent discount on boyf-nk?
He/she/it conveniently ignored how Ham x-rayed ESRDS into oblivion in days, while Jewish scholars, gay porn kings and other frauds were still busy translating the title page. But they still wanted to have a say despite being unable to read what it all was about. He also ignored how the clones routinely promote -under the guise of criticism and insult- degree mills.
Again, Diderot and Grimm exchanging lists of pornographic books and booksellers under the guise of exposing them; come think of it, John Bear 's first foray into the world of 'DE guides' included a directory of those bad degree mills complete with addresses...
Bear made money selling directories of degree mills...made money running unaccredited schools...he then made money exposing degree mills and calling those schools he had owned, promoted or operated mills...and dummies still get a crush on him...
