Gollin, employed as a physics teacher at the University of Illinois, desperately craved recognition as an “expert” in higher education accreditation, despite having no education or experience in the subject.  Stuck in a dead end career, and with his wife earning 60% more money than he did at the same school, Gollin urgently needed a trophy to establish his credibility.


His opportunity came when the rebels controlling the education system in Liberia began demanding a $6,000 a month bribe from Dr. Dolphin and St. Luke.  When the school refused to pay, George Gollin saw his opportunity.  Acting as a “consultant” to the corrupt Liberian regime, court documents allege that George Gollin began a campaign to slander St. Luke as an illegal “diploma mill” operation.


As a result of George Gollin’s alleged treachery, St. Luke School of Medicine could not provide the doctors and medical care that the African people so desperately needed.  And without such care, untold numbers of African men, women and children suffered needlessly and died cruelly.   George Gollin got that extra line on his resume, written in the blood of dead African babies.


Now Dr. Dolphin and St. Luke School of Medicine are suing George Gollin and the University of Illinois in a California federal court. Dolphin already has obtained a $120 million judgment in the country of Ghana against some of the defendants.  But how much are dead babies worth to George Gollin?

Has George Gollin even once in his miserable life ever helped a sick person or done anything with his fancy Ivy League education to help anyone other than his own repulsive self?

Sometimes people need a hand up, and sometimes people stop and give them that hand.  Dr. Jerroll Dolphin is one of those people.  He could be doing nose jobs and liposuction in Beverly Hills, but instead he is helping poor, suffering people in the dankest of third world cesspools.  Not because some government bureaucrat ordered him to do it, but because he cares about his fellow man and willingly makes the sacrifice to help others.

And other times when people need a hand up, sometimes a real asshole stops and gives them a kick in the gut and a push down into the gutter.  George Gollin is one of those people.  He has devoted his entire life to helping himself, promoting himself, writing about himself, advertising himself.  And despite all his attention to himself, still the only way he can build himself up is by tearing down others.  

Has George Gollin ever opened a school or a hospital or a business or tried to use his education to help others?  No, never, not once.  He plays on the internet all day, blathering on about his guitar and his cat and his dislike of George Bush and attacking people he doesn't know who achieve things he doesn't dare think about.  He uses the dead and broken bodies of others as a stepping stone to celebrity.

In life there are heroes and there are shitbirds.  It won't take a jury too long to figure out which group defendant George Gollin belongs to.

Johnnie Cochrane couldn't have said it better.  (And I mean that as a compliment.  Whatever else he was, Johnnie was a very good lawyer.)  

It's really that simple.   And when you're playing to a low-IQ politician masquerading as a judge or a low-IQ OJ jury, it needs to be.  Add that to "scratch 'n' sniff" and Illinois taxpayers are going to be writing a really BIG check to Dr. Dolphin.

Too bad all those sick African babies didn't have access to more medical doctors. Maybe they would still be alive today if only somebody hadn't been trying to shake down Dr. Dolphin's medical school.
