I may be really slow, but where is the actual illusion?
The "open legs" or something?
I see that only a fraction of a second...definitely not that smart.

Well that certainly was my point, or at least one of them.
Another would be that, like many things that Klempner tells us, it's not true!
Although it might explain why curve balls are hard to hit. After chasing that around all night it's tough to hit anything.
