John - You Missed A Mill

Quote:Family tree Ray Chasse left Pacific Western to start American Coastline, Summit, and a bunch of others. John - you forgot that Ray Chasse left the Union for Experimenting Colleges and Universities to go to Pacific Western. That sure sounds like some mill. I bet you could get a PhD there in short order - under 9 months? |

John Klempner, you forgot the biggest mill meister of them all--John Klempner!! CPU, Fairfax, Greenwich, LIAR, Millard Fillmore, IIAS, etc., etc. |

RE: John - You Missed A Mill
Perhaps just more evidence of his encroaching senility, but Bear seems to be waxing nostalgic for those thrilling days of yesteryear, before he went over to the dark side, when unaccredited programs brought anti-establishment fun for all and he was still relevant.
Back then legit and utilitarian unaccredited degree programs flourished, and Bear truly was a useful engine for sorting the “good choices” from the “less than wonderfuls.” Now that the higher education cartel has managed to eliminate or co-opt so much of its competition, the default issue has become just which government-enforced level of cartel approval to choose, RA or NA. No Bear needed for that. Glory days, well they’ll pass you by. Glory days, in the wink of a socialist’s eye… |
