Example: Discussion of "goldblatt" at DI, to which "levicoff" promptly chimes in that "goldblatt" doesn't exist. Apparently orchestrated diversionary "speculation" follows, first by the idiot Little Fuass that "goldblatt" is Alexander "Swift Eagle" Justice, then Bruce the malingering union goon that "goldblatt" is really NYU student pranksters. None speculates that "levicoff" is himself non-existent.

It's like the bogus "Steppenwolf" or "Deep Purple" bands that used to tour obscure venues, fooling the yokels into believing they were seeing the real thing. "Who wants to be the 'original member' tonight?" they would ask before taking the stage. When things get dull Klempner queries his clones, "Who wants to be 'Levicoff' tonight? Remember your character is Jewish and gay, although for most of you that is no act."
