It's round on the end, high in the middle:

Her LinkedIn profile shows her in the DC area now.

I'm definitely beginning to see the light on this Ron Paul thing. Tongue

Looks like the headline should have read "Gollin TRIPLE Dips at Taxpayers' Expense."

In addition to getting paid once by the Crazy Guggenheimers and again by the Illinois taxpayers via a fully paid sabbatical to write his fairy tale pulp fiction, Gollin also got paid by the U of Illinois' "Center for Advanced Studies."

Quote:Beck and Gollin Named 2009/10 CAS Associates
December 3, 2008

Professors of Physics Douglas H. Beck and George D. Gollin have been named associates in the Center for Advanced Study at the University of Illinois for the 2009/10 academic year.  In this highly competitive selection process, tenured University of Illinois faculty are invited to submit scholarly or creative proposals for consideration by the Center's permanent Professors.

Professor Beck will work on development for a new experiment to measure the electric dipole moment of the neutron. Since Professor Jim Smith's thesis experiment in 1951 with Edward Purcell and Norman Ramsey, the neutron EDM has remained an important indicator in models of particle physics. The new experiment involves measurement of so-called ultra-cold neutrons in superfluid helium. Professor Beck's work will re-examine aspects of studies of 3He in superfluid 4He pioneered at Illinois in the 1960s.

Professor Gollin will use time as a Center for Advanced Study associate to focus on two projects. The first, centered on his current program of particle physics research, is to refine the design of a novel calibration system for the Mu2e experiment, currently proposed for installation at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The second, a continuation of his service work in higher education policy, is to co-author (with Assistant Attorney General Jack Zurlini) a book recounting the nine-year trajectory and spectacular immolation of the "St. Regis University" diploma mill, and the resulting increase in international attention to the problem of degree mills.

That makes at least THREE payments for the same gob of Gollin garbage. How many more are there??????

Um... was she saying something?
