Bear Shafts Christian College

Simply unbelievable:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7740904.stm

Even Ezzel pipes in saying that Trinity Theological Seminary degrees are illegal in some states. I wish he would point out which state outlaws legitimate Christian degrees.

Bear sure did an axe job on a legitimate school. The U of Wales determined the programs were up to their standards and they were. Only BBC busybodies and Bear who's suddenly an expert in Christian education seemed to differ.

It's time for Trinity to sail to Wales and launch a libel lawsuit under a whole new set of rules.

It's no secret that Christianity is under attack, both in the US and worldwide.  Klempner and Gay Al have been at the forefront of attacks against Christian higher education.  Klempner must be stepping up his operations so he'll have time to celebrate Christmas. Big Grin

There's nothing these statists and socialists hate more than people figuring out ways around their oppressive bureaucratic rigmarole.  The Welsh probably limit their scrutiny to whether the school actually meets objective academic standards.  Unlike the RA culture club that evaluates adherence to PC dogma, such as whether you have excluded the appropriate number of one ethnic group to make way for another, or hired the proper number of perverts and Marxists.

I think it odd that Trinity Theological Seminary should be labeled a degreemill. Most criticism I have seen centres around its business practices. The quality of its academic programs passed several years of North Central Association review before it withdrew its application for accreditation. The U of Wales considered it adequate for a couple years. I took a couple Trinity Theological Seminary courses and they are in line or tougher that accredited graduate courses I have taken from other schools. This is simply a travesty.

The quality of Trinity's academic staff probably is equal to or exceeds the U of Wales. I just don't get it. Perhaps people are confusing it with Trinity College and University which is a mill.

"May I use the word laughing stock?"

Klempner's head looks like it's being sucked into his shirt.  The Welsh ought to tell him to go stick his big nose in somebody else's business.

If the U of Wales evaluated it and found it up to snuff, what's it to Klempner?  He's afraid other legit but unaccredited schools will follow, and his cartel pals with the billion dollar endowments won't need him any more.

Obviously if the American accreditation system wasn't a complete joke then legit schools wouldn't need to play these games.  You can bet that if Trinity had a billion dollar endowment they would be allowed to sit at the big people's table.  Money talks and bullshit goes on British TV.

I suspect the BBC reporters never bothered to find out that many fully legitimate religious schools operate without any government approval whatsoever and American courts have consistently held that governments shall not make laws concerning the sufficiency of religious education. Not being a Constitutional expert by any means I would suspect that the USDOE approval of ATS, TRACS, ABHE, etc. would be illegal under the 1st Amendment - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.... This amendment has been carried to ridiculous lengths never intended but the USDOE regularly makes decisions by selectively accrediting (establishing) some religious schools with the net result being the apparent public humiliation of schools like Trinity. By granting illegal government approval to some schools the USDOE is leading the charge against the free exercise of religion by others.

In Geat Britain you can't pee without getting a license and paying a tax, a legacy of Labour rule. They have an established religion which is essentially part and parcel with the government. So we have a combo of Bear leading a crusade and some ignorant BBC reporters attacking a legitimate school that has educated thousands of active preachers who considered Bear's laughing stock as the legitimate and rigorous education institution that it is.

I would love to see Trinity sue in Welsh or English courts. In the examination for discovery might we find that Bear initiated the attack? That would be interesting. There is also no such thing as proving absence of malice in your malice.

The clones have been working this angle for some time.  Here's a post by Gay Al at PervertInfo from way back in March 2005:
http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread....post171245

Gay Al couldn't seem to figure out how Robert Kennedy U could hook up with U of Wales.  Dr. Latin Juris questioned the propriety of Gay Al conducting his criminal investigations on a public discussion board.  Janko offered pig Latin and useless gibberish.  The idiot Gollin personally attacked Dr. Latin Juris.  Finally Learned Foot explained it to him.

Gay Al and the clones couldn't do anything about Robert Kennedy, because they are in Switzerland.  But poor Trinity is stuck right here in the good ol' Land of the Free, where the Obamunists can do their thing.

Didja notice how Klempner referred to what we Americans call a "truck" as a "lorry," which term is never used here?  Clearly Klempner was pandering to the British audience.  Also interesting how they taped Klempner tottering around at Cal even though he presently has nothing to do with Cal, apparently to make him look like he has some "official" capacity.  This all was part of a well orchestrated attack on Trinity.  The clones found a useful idiot at BBC who wanted a free trip to the US and an easy, gift-wrapped story of "scandal."

There's precedent for that plan of attack. Remember how they undermined SRU's accreditation in Liberia. Probably a similar tactic here, with clone puppets in the US government reaching out to the UK.

Gay Al got his fingers burned picking on Bob Jones U.  He incorrectly assumed that since they were a non-profit Christian operation they didn't have the money or desire to defend themselves.  This time the clones are picking on Trinity, probably because they think it's less able or inclined to fight back, especially on another continent.

I agree with you Dennis, I'd like to see Trinity take up the fight over there and hopefully expose the source of the initial inquiry in the process.  There's a lot of behind the scenes maneuvering being done by the usual suspects, and it's time to shed some light on the cockroaches.

Of course, as always the ultimate benefactor here is not the students or the public, but rather the wealthy and powerful higher education cartel, as another small fry competitor is about to be eliminated from the DL marketplace.

That's off the mark.
I don't care if a reporter thinks a school is bad: it's his opinion (or the opinion of those who paid him).
I do care that the so-called 'reporter' never bothered to inquire about who his 'star witness' is...to find out that John Bear created, operated, (co)owned or promoted a number of 'unaccredited' schools he now refers to as unwonderful or degree mills.
