Quote:Gregg DesElms had appeared, unannounced and uninvited, at his front door earlier that day, to discuss certain things that janko had written on this forum. janko said it was quite a surreal several hours
Now the thing I find most disconcerting and laughable is the attempt to bring the internet into real life...perhaps trying to give substance to the make-believe world that some deranged individual considers his own. I have never done that & never will. Since 2001 I barely exchanged a few emails and messages...to my throwaway accounts, that is. I only made one exception with a woman I knew was real ages ago, but I wouldn't do it now even if no harm befell me; still, I consider it very unwise.
A long trip to discuss things said on a forum online...and that for several hours?! Amazing...
Quote:No doubt all his miserable life Janko had been an outcast, a loser and non-achiever who imagined he had something on the ball but who couldn't seem to convince anyone else of it despite trying incessantly.
For the first time in his dolorous existence he had found a little niche for himself, as a loyal member of Bear's stalker crew. Hell, the mighty Bear even mentioned his name in one of his obscure little books, and spelled it right too. Wow, now he could hide behind his computer keyboard, spew his bile and bluster, and enjoy the accolades of all the other losers, perverts and non-starters who cling to Bear's robes. -...-
Janko surely had read the comments about Elmer here and elsewhere. And suddenly he realized we were right! Elmer really was a nut, and the people Janko thought were his friends and comrades-in-arms were all just a bunch of stalkers and mental cases. And even worse, that he had far less to fear from the so-called millists he had been stalking than he did from his new buddies. -...-
He called his hero, the omniscient KKKlempner, only to realize that his idol considered him a laughable fool. Klempner viewed the entire incident as just another humorous tale to be spun and milked for entertainment value and profit. If the laughs came at Janko's expense, who cared? And the astute readers here deduced exactly who Bear was laughing at, even if he didn't mention him by name.
Well, as I said, the larger than life some people love to sound online, the bigger frauds, losers and butts of all jokes they are in real life. Only if one is a real fraud and has a chipped shoulder as big as Mars, he would 'invest' so much time and effort online feathering a virtual nest that is as inconsistent as any other pipe dream.
I said ages ago that the slick self-promoters (the John Bear and George Gollin of the day ) probably think the worst of their online groupies...but hell, that sells books and promoted Gollin from obscure academic to CHEA officer...
I already mentioned Jordan Maxwell, the investigator of occult and political matters. Viewing many of his videos, it is clear he subtly but substantially spins his story to suit the audience...either increasing the role supposed UFOs play in his conspiracy theories...or maybe it is a satanic angle if the audience are christian bigots...which is funny, because elsewhere he has skinned Christianity alive exposing its many inconsistencies.
Why?
He is no fool, but he needs to make a living.
Of course being invited to lecture in front of an audience with a Christian bias and offering a critical view of their ideas is a recipe to be struck off the call roll of that speaking circuit.
