Dixie In Victorville Now - Don Dresden - 02-23-2010

Dixie Randock's taxpayer-funded vacation has relocated from chilly Dublin in northern California to warm and breezy Victorville in southern California.

This is quite a scenic venue, offering a breath-taking view of the snow-capped San Bernardino mountains from the desert side. While some people are hurting their backs shoveling snow and enduring the harsh and icy punishment of "global warming," Dixie gets to enjoy her leisure time in this lovely locale. She surely will miss this charming holiday spot when she is released a mere 400 days from now.

Sixty and sunny forecast for tomorrow in Victorville, according to the weather channel. Yeah, I sure feel sorry for all the chumps stuck in some bleak midwestern cow town driving their Saturns in the snow and freezing rain to that deadend job they hate. Well, all of them but one.Big Grin

As those of us who have actually read the books they sell at the airport know, freedom is a state of mind. Gollum looks like he is stuck in more of a jail than Dixie is or ever could be.

When you can only validate yourself by attacking female entrepreneurs you really don't have much of an existence on any level.

Apparently Gollum woke up one day, realized his life was meaningless, and decided the only thing he could do to correct this situation was... make it even more meaningless.

I guess that's what those physics guys mean by relativity.? "Zero" is relatively more than "less than zero," so by that standard he could claim he actually had been a success, relatively speaking.

Any guesses on whether Bear visited her during her time in Dublin? At one point he claimed that he was friendly with some Bureau of Prison bureaucrats so anything is possible.

As I understand the procedure, the prisoner has to put the visitor's name on the visitor list first. It's not like in the movies, where Harrison Ford just strolls up to the jail with his fake ID and asks to see a one-armed man. It's the prisoner's call, and I can't imagine why she would put Bear's name on her visitor list, unless she planned to strangle him through the little hole in the window.

G-Men are permitted to interview federal prisoners without restrictions. I wonder of Georgie G's Junior G-Man badge could get him in through the gates? Big Grin

Probably not, when you think it through. Even the jail guards will see him for what he is ... a frustrated academic toiling away in central Illinois harboring delusions of grandeur.

Might get him in, wouldn't get him out! But he might like that, as he seems to harbor "women behind bars" fantasies as well.

Winston?Smith Wrote:...he seems to harbor "women behind bars" fantasies as well.

Quote:Women in prison films emerged in the early seventies and remain a popular subgenre to this day. They are primarily voyeuristic sexual fantasies about prison life that rely on heavy doses of nudity, lesbianism, sexual assault, humiliation, sadism, and rebellion among captive women.

Not sure why this would appeal to him. Sounds like just another day at the Gollum house.
