Anyone have any contact or experience with the Far Eastern National University? Here are the links:

They have some attractive programs, however after repeated inquires I've yet get a response..

I found them attractive but received no email response. They musn't like real money. I'm not sure what their problem is but it needs fixing. After sending a few emails and getting no reply you have to start asking whether these are people you want to send your money to.

Much like French outfits, they probably have an English homepage but none who understands it. Try writing in Russian or calling, if you can.
It may be another IGNOU kind of unresponsive academic mammoth that -although legitimate- you won't want anything to do with. I sent say 10 emails to IGNOU and NEVER got ONE reply.

The problem is that I was considering studying intro Russian.
I suspect there is some poor administrator who gets 100 emails a day that he can't read while another administrator wonders why no-one ever shows interest in their programs.
I could write a letter but I'm sure letters not in Cyrillic script get filed under G.

I find this all too common among overseas programs. In many places the notion that the program is being delivered "in English" is largely theoretical. If you aren't able to converse comfortably in the local lingo you probably ought to pass.
Likewise, cultural issues (e.g., what the locals consider "timely" responses to questions, assuming they respond at all) raise the aggravation quotient beyond acceptable in most places. About the only place I've found as an exception would be Singapore, where the locals tend to be very squared away.

Good point. On closer inspection it looks as though the site hasn't been updated since 2005..
