George Brown to investigate U of Southern Queensland dropping DETC accreditation - Geoff Vankirk - 06-12-2009
George Brown will look into why University of Southern Queensland has dropped its DETC accreditation. That's great news as George is plugged into the Who's Who of Australian higher education especially as it relates to distance education. The bigger question is why George Brown, the preeminent distance education expert in Australia, has to first find out about such big news from a goddam Internet forum? Is this an aberration and an oversight by George or is he not the expert he has held himself out to be?

What has George found out? Let's cut him a little slack since he's in South Australia and not Queensland. I'm sure that if a school in South Australia were considering dropping DETC accreditation, they would consult with George Brown before making such a big decision.

George Brown couldn't find his ass with both hands. He has no more insight into why U of Southern Queensland dropped its DETC accreditation than any of the other amateurs posting at degreediscussion.
