Johann from online.degree.net - Little Arminius - 08-06-2008 Reading Johann's posts at online.degree.net (he may even be a mod there for all I know), he seems to be well-intentioned and knowledgeable. However, he has the annoying habit of playing up to Uncle Janko when he posts at DD. This is as dangerous as feeding the animals at the zoo. yet another silly DD thread involving Janko Don't these people realize that they are just encouraging good old Uncle J to continue playing his solitaire DL version of Trivial Pursuit, a game in which he amazes all of us with his knowledge of the arcane and irrelevant? Or, is there another possible reason? Let's take a poll. RE: Johann from online.degree.net - ham - 08-06-2008 for all I know he might be one of the clique members ( or one of their secret, or not so secret, admirers ) under another alias. In a couple instances I was reminded of Greta Garbo. Boy oh boy... 'Doctor' this...''doctor' that...yea, and what about the gay teen boy with a 'cavernous a$$'? ![]() ![]() Quote:It is the good old sandbox conspiracy situation everyone has experienced in kindergarten... RE: Johann from online.degree.net - Fort Bragg - 08-07-2008 Johann's attitude is a bit like Douglas after he's been bitch slapped by Levicoff - still knows everything but a little bit humble. RE: Johann from online.degree.net - JohnDoe - 09-16-2008 My opinion about Johann is that he is a very knowledgeable, nice and helpful fellow. He is in favor of accredited degrees, but he does not - as others - behave like a rude animal when someone mentions unaccredited degrees. You can always ask him for advice, and he will do a lot to help you. I'd bet he could "win" a lot of arguments over at degreediscussion.com if he wanted to, but - as I see it - he is operating at far higher standards than the main posters over there. I believe he is a great resource. Johann is what Dayson would be like is Dayson wasn't stupid. Hungry Ghost = Bill Dayson. I don't know...they probably see themselves as high priests leading a solemn procession...but I only hear the 'looney tunes' music...too bad. He tries so very hard to accomodate Uncle J, Bomber Douglas, et al. that it's embarrassing. If Johann were black he'd be called an "Uncle Tom" and rightly so. Instead of adjectives like nice and helpful, wouldn't it be more accurate to use the word "obsequious?"
