DesElms is still an asshole and maybe even worse. He was annoying and irritating before, but at least he wasn't helping fags get married. Now while we don't see or hear from him, he's playing an active role in undermining morality in society. I think that in the grand scheme of things DesElms is more of an asshole now than he was before.
It's a sad commentary to note that the period of time when DesElms was at his most benign may have been when he was regularly patronizing Korean hookers to the tune of $40K. Even the period before that troubling because of the DeMolay stuff, something which reeks of closeted homosexual activity.
