U of Phoenix Article - Virtual Bison - 01-01-2013 https://encyclopediadramatica.se/University_of_Phoenix ![]() Quote: RE: U of Phoenix Article - Albert Hidel - 01-02-2013 Seems like a lot of the same condescending, elitist stereotypes we saw applied to non-traditional schools a few years ago. Now they have run most of those out of business they are sniping at the for-profits. UoP makes like a gazillion dollars a year providing a product that apparently is in demand. The mainstream schools arrogantly flushed an entire market segment. A lot of people who otherwise would be excluded from the higher ed thing have found a good fit at UoP. How is UoP evil just for being clever enough to thrive on the establishment's leftovers? Its really created for the purpose of bashing Wikipedia. Their article on ITT Technical Institute was even more brutal. As I recall, Warren National and University of Phoenix had a strong rivalry. U of P students were always quick to cite the accredition status of their school. |
