Ominous warning from Jack to DLT - Little Arminius - 03-08-2011
Do Jack Tracey, George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Gollinsky, Gollum) or any of the other idiots actually read the linked articles in their entirety before making comments about how it may affect DLTruth? I fail to see any parallels between the two cases cited, one involving a private citizen who was libeled on Topix.com and suffered damages while the second involves a forum operated by several newspapers that claimed protection by the Indiana journaism shield law, and the commentary provided at DL Truth, much of it political and/or satirical in nature.

Of course none of these tools was the least bit bothered when some "new poster" (yeah, sure it was a newbie) incorrectly identified a private citizen without any involvement in DL as "Little Arminius." Fortunately the DD administrator, Gus Sainz, recognizing a libelous post when he saw one, removed the post lo más pronto posible, minimizing the damage caused to the private citizen. George Gollin, a public figure largely as a result of his incessant self-promotion, and that old fool John Bear, another public figure by virtue of his books and leadership in the DL field, said not a word.
So before Jack, George and the others start trumpeting the end of DL Truth, maybe they should ask their pal Nosborne to explain the basics of defamation of character lawsuits?

I am not sure whether bringing to court the fifteen people dissertation item, the gay teen porn empire item, the Millard Fillmore, I.I.A.S, L.I.A.R item, the I.C.H.M item etc etc would finally work for or against them...or maybe the fake therapy site for sexually confused teens item...the judicial troubles item...
What i find funny is nobodies fighting to death to defend the money, opportunities and privileges others have amassed through such sites thanks to such zeroes.

Jack the Kipper is a douchebag talking out his ass. As Ham has noted, we have the goods on those reprobates, and if we didn't they would have done something about it three years ago.
Once again, it's a case of projection. They fear the repercussions of the Klempner-inspired stalking they have been encouraging and participating in for years. They should hope that the people they have threatened and harassed and attempted to destroy only sue them, and don't resort to some more immediate and permanent self-help remedies.

As Yogi Berra said, prediction is hard, especially about the future. They haven't gotten one right yet, so no reason to think anything is going to change now.
Kipper Boy still has his panties in a knot because somebody reported him to his local licensing board when his connection to the gay boy porn empire was discovered. But in MA being a toelicking butt pirate is just a prerequisite for running for Congress, so he never had anything to worry about.

I think that Jack the Kipper is thinking with his heart instead of his head. He would like to see Gollin, Bear or Sainz (maybe his bankruptcy attorney will do it for filing fees only) go after DL Truth but doesn't have the guts to do it himself. I think I have more respect for pizza man Vinny123 than I do for the Kipper.

Its important to understand why this board exists in the first place. There are a large number of "experts" who present themselves as authorities on distance learning whose actions go beyond what is decent and proper. They harass people and try to push their agendas in the public arena. They are well connected and have friends in very high places. This is why they are able to push through legislation at the state and Federal levels in the United States and abroad. They have access to the media and when they talk they are usually listened to. And should anyone try to argue against them or expose their activities, they become targets themselves.
While I may not agree 100% with the views of everyone here, I believe it is important to have one refuge for those giving opposing views.
IMHO there is more freedom on this board than ther ever was on Degree Discussion or any of those other boards.

Those boards exist...to make money by either promoting or demoting providers in the field...it is the norm online, no matter how loud they bark to have us believe otherwise. 99% "advice" sites in any field are run by phonies and frauds who get their orders from outside sources or inside middlemen.
It's a gigantic sale machine...and the bonus of a "respectable public facade" for the likes of gay teen porn king Thomas Chip White is a marginal one. The various doctor fifteenschwein are only sock puppets in a game bigger than themselves based on a code of silence: if you fart, I'll pretend it smells like roses and you'll do the same for me, too.
I had a vicious character assassination attempt played on me by people who -only days earlier- wanted me to write a book on the subject -yes, that's right-...it came out some third party factual info I was putting out were being circulated around the niche and were definitely bad for business...of those seemingly nice non-profit sites who bark until the moon turns blue how they are open for your sake only.
That's the new wil west of advertisement: fooling people so that they won't realize it's just another infomercial.
Online the con is always on.
I never sought out churches online, where everybody agrees with anybody...I don't exactly care...I tell it as I see it...I may be wrong, right and anything in between...at the end of the day, it won't make any real difference in the number of cars I have to park to get to the next paycheck.

Its noteworthy that a lot of cases of people are those involving online bullying.
What happens here at DL Truth is that we expose the bullies.
This is really about bullies trying to punish victims, or more properly trying to punish those protecting victims.
