Ilesanmi Adesida
Gollin's anti-black and anti-Christian bigotry is well-documented here. Adesida no doubt would be quicker on the trigger than Gollin's boss, Dale Van Harlingen.
Van Harlingen publicly kisses Obama's ass just to make sure ever'body know he down with the brohams:
Quote:[W]e have a new President of the United States who understands and appreciates the value of science and education and who has vowed "to restore science to its rightful place." He has surrounded himself with intelligent advisors who are scientists (mostly physicists) and has boosted funding support for science and science education. He has challenged scientists to address societal problems in energy, health, informatics, and security, while still cherishing the quest for scientific creativity and discovery.
But he tolerates double-dipping, racist anti-Christian bigots like Gollin? Actions speak louder than words, Van Harlot. If Adesida can purge his department of overpaid and under-achieving lawsuit-magnet dinosaurs shouldn't you be doing the same?
Look at the bright side. Gollin is due for retirement some time soon. And hopefully he will live the rest of is sad life away from everyone. I can just see him in a nursing home, yelling at nurses and shouting at everyone who tells him to shut up.

That would be politically incorrect. U of I has enough problems with Chief Illinowek.
BTW, what should the next mascot of U of I be?

That reminds me of the Lt. Sobel character in Band of Brothers. The real guy was such an asshole that neither his wife, children, nor any of the guys he served with in the war went to his funeral. The dumbass tried to blow his brains out and effed it up, merely severing his optic nerves and blinding himself. He spent his last 17 years in a VA hospital, no doubt a joy to all the nurses, just as you describe.
Interesting coincidence, the real Sobel attended U of Illinois. Something about that place, like a magnet for assholes. I doubt Gollum will make it to a nursing home, if only because he'll do something stupid like roll the Saturn or lose a bike vs. truck encounter, like his idiot stalker cohorts.
Yes, it will be the "stalker karma phenomenom" in action again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Gollum is about the same age Sobel was when he tried to take the do-it-yourself dirt nap. Let's hope he gets 15 friends to help out, so he can get something right for a change.

Is double dipshit George Gollin (George DD Gollin) worried that he's at risk for criminal charges because he got paid twice for the same "work"?
![[Image: alfred_e_neuman.gif]](http://www.yolatengo.com/news/pop/alfred_e_neuman.gif)
Of course not. The question is should double dipshit George Gollin (George DD Gollin) be worried? Here's what happened to another husband and wife team of losers when they tried to get paid twice for the same work:
Quote:Ex-Georgia Tech professors charged with fraud
Associated Press
Two Georgia Tech professors face fraud charges after prosecutors accuse them of being on the payrolls of two universities at the same time.
The Georgia Attorney General's office said the husband-and-wife duo of Francois Sainfort and Julie Jacko have been charged with conspiracy to defraud, theft by taking and making false statements.
The two are charged in a plot to draw paychecks from both Georgia Tech and the University of Minnesota.
State prosecutors say the two fraudulently billed Georgia Tech for travel expenses and lied about the dual employment.
The Fulton County indictment also charges them with inappropriately directing payments to Julie Jacko's brother, Robert Jacko, who also faces a conspiracy charge.
An attorney for the three could not immediately be reached.

Hey, he's not just a double dipshit, he's a trend setter! Getting paid twice for not doing the same work is the latest style amongst the self-important pseudo-intellectual douchebag crowd.
Quote:FSCJ exec holds similar job at college in New Jersey
In Jacksonville, Donald Green is paid $166,000 as an executive vice president. In New Jersey he's earning $130 an hour as a senior vice president at Essex College.

By Kate Howard
At the Florida State College at Jacksonville, Donald Green is a high-ranking member of the president's executive staff. At the same time, almost 1,000 miles away at New Jersey's Essex County College, he is also a high-ranking member of the president's executive staff.
Green, an employee at FSCJ since 1998 and the executive vice president of instruction and student services, said his job performance here hasn't been affected by his work in New Jersey. He has been averaging 15-20 hours a week working for the New Jersey college since last October -- a month after getting a 30-percent pay raise at FSCJ to bring his salary in line with the state average at $166,000. He's scheduled for another raise during the 2011-12 academic year, to $189,000.
Between November and April 8, Green has been paid about $46,000 by the Essex college at a rate of $130 an hour, according to college billing records.
FSCJ President Steven Wallace said he learned about the job last week after someone sent him a story from the Newark newspaper that referenced Green's hiring. They are reviewing records to ensure no rules were broken. Wallace said they had not found any cause for concern yet in Green maintaining both jobs and no rules would prevent it as long as he wasn't doing the second job on FSCJ's time.
Green said he used vacation time and off hours to conduct all his business with Essex County College and his work there did not affect his work for FSCJ.
"The administrative review will show that it had no impact," Green said.
Green was asked to come to the New Jersey college by Edythe Abdullah, who until last year was the president of FSCJ's downtown campus. She took over as president at Essex County College last year and is embroiled in a fight with the faculty union that has included a dispute over Green's hiring.
Though Green was initially brought in as a consultant to the Essex college, he was also given the title of acting senior vice president of academic affairs and a contract through the end of this month. Abdullah said the title was needed to give Green the authority to make changes.
Michael Frank, the president of the Essex college's faculty union, said he was "astounded" that Green was appointed to such a high-level position. The faculty union cited the hiring in a no-confidence vote on Abdullah, who has nonetheless retained the support of the college's board of trustees.
"If there's a hole in the organization, you should tap somebody inside temporarily," Frank said. "But to hire someone from Florida who's still got a job? That was incredible to me."
Green has also played a role in a simmering tenure battle at the Essex college. Joao Sedycias, chairman of the humanities division, was given his first bad review in five years and denied tenure after Green's arrival. He is a close friend of past administrators and believes he is a victim of a housecleaning.
"I think because of my associations and speaking out against Donald Green that I am getting my just desserts now," he said.
Close ties at FSCJ
Green and Abdullah's professional relationship in Jacksonville extended into mentoring and volunteer work.
The two founded a karate program together called Careers and Karate for teens at risk of dropping out. In 2009, Abdullah nominated Green for recognition as one of USA Weekend's "Most Caring Coaches" for his work with the program, noting in a media interview that he worked 80 hours a week but still made time for coaching.
Abdullah said hiring Green wasn't a matter of giving a friend a cushy job; an accreditation visit was fast approaching, and she needed help.
There were no viable internal candidates in Essex, Abdullah said, and she's competing with a half dozen other colleges in New Jersey that are also trying to fill similar positions. Getting part-time help from Green was better than nothing, she said.
"We're involved in significant restructuring," Abdullah said. "Was I able to get everything I needed? No, but I wasn't able to get a full-time person either."
She never considered asking Green to come on board full-time for a few months, and Green said he never considered it. Abdullah said the arrangement is not uncommon, and she also served as a consultant for a "significant" hourly wage for a few months before she was hired.
Abdullah pointed out that Green is a notoriously hard worker and those in the academic world are often juggling pursuits, whether they be writing books, research projects or consulting.
Wallace, of FSCJ, agreed.
"Any time an employee is doing work external to the college, they can do it in the evening or on weekends," Wallace said.
Five members of FSCJ's board of trustees did not return calls seeking comment Friday. City Councilman Michael Corrigan, a board member who is campaigning for Duval County tax collector, declined to comment, saying he didn't know enough about the situation.
United Faculty of Florida's FSCJ chapter president Stephen Milczanowski said it's true that faculty also do much outside work, but he has cause for concern, especially since the college plans to hire an additional administrator in the fall.
"Dr. Green does not generally get widespread support from the faculty," Milczanowski said. "The taxpayers just really want to make sure tuition money is used for the best."
Retired FSCJ professor Gena Casas questions whether a highly paid administrator like Green has enough free time for a part-time job. Casas, a former president of the faculty union, wonders if the expectation for that kind of job is really only 40 hours a week.
"I guess my question is, how effective can he be [at the other college] if he's not working during the hours everyone else is working?" Casas said.

I'm sure George Gollin (George D Gollin, George Dana Gollin) has nothing to worry about. He wouldn't have been earning outside money while he was on sabbatical.....would he???

A tenured professor of finance at the University of California at Riverside, who allegedly earned outside income while on sabbatical, was fired by the university system's Board of Regents on Thursday, the Associated Press reported. The dismissal comes after two decades of lawsuits between the university and the professor, Sarkis Joseph Khoury. The proposed dismissal went to the board after being endorsed by a faculty committee, the campus chancellor, and the system president. The AP reported that Mr. Khoury released a statement calling the board's decision "absurd" and saying he had resigned from UC-Riverside on January 1.

As often is the case, I can only guess what your reference is. If it's to the ethnicity of the prof named "Sarkis Joseph Khoury," that appears to be an Armenian name, and Armenia is a Christian nation.
The point of the post was that the prof was taking money for not working, then working on the side, which apparently is a violation of the rules at UC and probably most other major universities, including the University of Illinois. If it cost Prof. Khoury his job then it ought to cost everyone else who does such a thing their job as well. If, for example, gollum is taking money from the Fermilab while supposedly using his sabbatical to write a "book" of fairy tales, that seems to be an identical circumstance and should create an identical result--fire his ass.
Clearly gollum is neither Armenian nor Christian. This has nothing to do with ethnicity or religion. It has to do with slimy assholes ripping off the tax payers.
