Thursday, May 25, 2006 ( 10:26 PM ) ... last day of skool: i honed my boardin skills with that boy, daniel jacobs. i definitely wiped out, but only once. i ate so much sugar. it was quite unbelievable. i won some awards, who knew?! it was actually pretty sweet, because my extended fam came in right before i got one, and that was vair nice. after the bell rang we screamed a little and hugged a lot. our yearbooks rock. the best part is sam's baby picture. <333cordelia # Tuesday, May 23, 2006 ( 11:07 PM ) ... [insert techno beats here] i have not made lists in so long, that said... things that sucked about today: the senior focus group, a very good idea, but it's not that fun to spend a period focusing on what i dislike about uni calculus things that were pretty sweet: English--amish drug users? fascinating! sfac social ad--so efficient! I spy-- hello, i found the phone! football-- maybe i proved myself to ben tuttle? everything i talked to sara about on AIM. i went from feeling overwhelmed to feeling giddy. then i talked to my mom about it and she was grossed out. "i think i've worked with turkeys a lot more than you have" the end! clg # Monday, May 22, 2006 ( 6:15 PM ) ... in the jungle room! so prom was pretty excellent. after crce we headed over to urbana to one mr. devin johnson's house. i know you are thinking: huh?! after about 20 minutes of tapping on his window and ringing his phone repeatedly he finally got up and we had pancakes! apparently, we think like urbanese, because many UHSers were at IHOP including zak. as a result, service was slow and bizarre! but we played ISPY to pass the time. our social premiere really rocked. so basically, this weekend was top notch. tonight my mom and i are celebrating forgetting my paper in her office by picking it up and getting ice cream. mmmm! clg # Wednesday, May 17, 2006 ( 6:38 PM ) ... hm. i've been reading lullaby, it's good. during eighth we played some I SPY which was good, but frusterating. acorns?! hello! after school i read on the quad and got my elbows dirty. the tree outside my window is very green, like i live in a tree house. things are mostly good, i am flyering after dinner. that is all. clg. # Sunday, May 14, 2006 ( 3:25 PM ) ... 'til all these females crawl finished with 5k! ran with farid, felt pretty good. today, however, i am very sore. tried to do some yoga position called something like "half moon with frog." worst. idea. ever! last night's big show was supreme. everyone thought the audience was bad, and maybe they were, but that did not prevent me from taking it to the house. then i lost several (3? 4?) rounds of mario kart (?) and read I SPY. i think i used to dislike I SPY when i was little, but now i think it's pretty fun. the end! # Friday, May 12, 2006 ( 12:12 AM ) ... yo: i finished. to quote stone cold steve austin: "oh hell yeah" # Tuesday, May 09, 2006 ( 11:19 PM ) ... this is no declaration, i just thought i'd let you know goodbye each additional page to my seminar paper is a major buzz. if only it were more quality. zzzz # Friday, May 05, 2006 ( 6:59 PM ) ... new feature! do you ever have trouble telling if i'm being sarcastic or not? (me too, sometimes). well guess what: now it's much easier! how is that? you ask. well, i'll tell you! i have developped a new (maybe annoying?) habit of when i say something sarcastic, like "This long grocery store line is making my day!" [bad example] shaking my head no. it is sort of like saying "NOT" when you were in second grade, but much more sophisticated. also, more subtle? yeah, right! clg # Thursday, May 04, 2006 ( 8:18 PM ) ... you know it makes me sad to see her like that my favorite song right now is "get me away from here, i'm dying" by belle and sebastian. sooo good. we listen to it in the lounge and i turn it up. i feel sort of weird about liking it. i'm not sure why. i feel like my arm is going to fall off. that's all! cordelia # Wednesday, May 03, 2006 ( 9:13 PM ) ... <3 jay z after big show today, i was peacefully kneeling my my locker, putting stuff in my bag. then [INSERT HUGE METALIC NOISE HERE] [INSERT CORDELIA SCREAM HERE] the door fell off my locker. funny things are great. they are even better when they happen unexpectedly. i cant write my paper and listen to jay z at the same time. the air coming in my window is making me feel crazy good. so yeah, then i carried my locker door outside, but then back inside, and then behind some other lockers. so we'll see where it ends up tomorrow. in conclusion: fuck metal fatigue! always and forever, cordelia # |
