"todessss kusss *squwak swquak* todes kusss." oh gott! ins bett! clg # Sunday, November 27, 2005 ( 12:19 PM ) ... txappela it's good that my dad made me stop watching that show about the tattoo parlor in favor of doing all the "stuff i have to do" because i was on my way to being convinced that getting a tattoo was a really good idea. especially one that would go over the one on my foot. iowa was so crazy. i went to my first ever nightcap, ate lots of stuffing, finished my book and was subjected to endless rounds of Restaurant, where I was either the boss, the waitress, the cooker or the customer, but somehow i never had enough rights to leave. hm. the weather today is so ann arbor, and if you have ever been there on a "warm" december 30th you will know what i mean. clg # Tuesday, November 22, 2005 ( 10:16 PM ) ... warum ist er sooooooo faul? tonight my dad and i had a nice conversation about how just because i'm bad at stuff doesn't mean i'm stupid. it was nice, but batia and i had had this EXACT conversation (minus sports, english and music analogies) on saturday (?) night, so it was a little late, but the thought definitely counted. definitely? definitley? before that i had some pizza and organic ?!?!?!?! milk. oooh, list time: i'm excited about: stuffing seeing my cousins hearing new grundy county gossip (tittilating, i assure you) i'm not excited about: driving there being cold the annual boyfriend interrogations things i am learning: to write with my left hand to play guitar also. that new weezer song? i mean, i like singing along to it, but i don't actually like it. you know? this cold weather is really not good for a beach girl like me, speaking of beach girls, what happened to that show? it was juliette's favorite and when she left, so did it. i should start wearing socks! <333 cordelia # Sunday, November 20, 2005 ( 7:28 PM ) ... cat visit from outter space! hey. alright. let's break out some facts: it's november 20th, 7:29pm it's rather chilly outside and pretty dark those things i just said, all true, or fact, if you're tim o'brien. that said, why, oh why is someone mowing their lawn? at first i thought it was a low flying plane... then a swarm of angry angry bees (not really)... then hungry hippos (no, flat out lie)... then a leaf blower (truth!), sara suggested that it was a chainsaw. uh... no. so i looked out my window and because it is SO dark, it took me several sixths of a minute to spot the source. it is, of course, my neighbors mowing their yard. who knew? well, not me, since i obviously just explained to you about my not-knowing process. did you know that a bee can fly at speeds of up to 15 miles per hour? i did. and so did batia. freundlichen gluckwunsch, cordelia # Saturday, November 19, 2005 ( 6:26 PM ) ... with a guitar string i have these new glove/mittens. i dont know what they're called in english, but they are exquisite. my best friends' persisting love for harry potter and desire to see the new movie leads me to conclude that they're 12. this is unfortunate because i'd rather see the johnny cash movie. so i wear my new mittens all the time and pretend that my computer is a type writer. i keep thinking about camp and how it's november now. some guitar now. cordelia # Tuesday, November 15, 2005 ( 10:25 PM ) ... #240 lingering feelings hinted at next to a frites* truck, we used to sail *freet clg # Monday, November 14, 2005 ( 7:05 PM ) ... nik zure txakurri deituko diot (i will call your dog) today i saw my mommy's friend after a very sleepy euskara class and i was like "HEY PAT!" and she was like "HEY! why are you so excited-- happy?!" and I could only smile and waggle my head, because i didn't really know, but now i sort of do. here is an incomplete list: -today i had a very good hair day, at least before i put on a helmet and it got rainy -seeing her reminded me of the crazy night of mourning for dead cats, dead hearts and michael jackson?! -i know something you don't know -guitar is my life force, basically -neutral milk hotel -hearing all this excitement about WRFU, good job folks! it almost makes me want to try to get meself and one of me friends a show, but then, that should probably wait -i am now the proud owner of "JOY" which is really expanding my german vocabulary -today devon (devin?) and i made beautiful music in the hallway! and to think just a month or two ago he was surprised when i knew his name! the best part, though, was that monah didn't mind, in fact, i think she enjoyed it. oops. random bolding, dont want to sound too much like. something that is weird: i have acquired a slightly nervous habit of kissing my necklace, trying to find religion? craving food? craving metally food? i do not know. if you guys dont already know, my favorite part of songs are the counting breaks. agur, cordelia # Sunday, November 13, 2005 ( 1:27 PM ) ... mMmMmMm! last night i ate really good cheesy potatoes and chocolate mousse pie. my last ever sectionals banquet. mm. i still get really excited and spastic when i think about what the juniors gave me. the socks, you know. now i have finished my calc and am chilling with gordon, of the violent femmes. oops i just bashed my knee on the desk and it made a popping noise! i was going to get a haircut today, but the woman couldn't find her scissors. i should read some omlette now. also last night, howie decided to nickname me "buffy" which is a little late, but chill. also sort of confusing, my mind raced, is it because i cheer a lot? or because i kill vampires?! but no, it was because of my deltoids. then shruti and alyssa and i ate ice cream and i learned some stuff. right, this weekend has been top notch. clg # Friday, November 11, 2005 ( 10:04 PM ) ... my people/or cheap soccer seats? today in basque i think i had allergies. i felt really uncomfortable and wanted to blow my nose and claw out my eyes. (because they itched). now that my guitar is back in its case my hands are very cold, maybe our house is haunted? i'm learning a johnny cash song. here's a list: johnny cash Blankets manu chao bob marley dresses here's another: crying and one last one: omlette but cat keeps going missing, but is always close enough when i am carrying large objects into the house to get squashed or escape? -clg p.s. rehearsal was the best ever. ever. ever. mm! # Wednesday, November 09, 2005 ( 8:50 PM ) ... brown hair brown shoes brown coat saturn today i made the decision to turn of the radio, "damn you sort of bad music, i am going to listen to the beatles." and it felt good, because i have been rather apathetic/obsessive in my recent music choices. also, the waldsee application went online sometime in the past few days and i got really excited looking at it. that spastic kind of excited that reduces my ability to function and reminds me of the song, "am i retarded or am i overjoyed?" sometimes you need to ask. so yes, now that i have calmed down i am applying. then some guitar then some sleep then some dreams clg. # Sunday, November 06, 2005 ( 6:33 PM ) ... it feels late! one hell week of being gone from 6am to 10:30pm culminating in the best swim meet of my life and being up for twenty three hours. sort of like jayz, i "don't sleep [i] rest one hour up." except that i rested for eight hours until i went out for brunch with my nana and ate eggs. here are some things i should do tonight: eat drink chai write practice guitar balls! my guitar folder is missing! oh well. last night the song i'm learning came through the speakers and it was a very cool moment. hey! my blue pen! uh oh, stream of conscienceness, better get going! toodaloo clg # |
