      ( 12:03 AM )
and your tongue feels like a fish.

today i watched final destination 2 with mark. i thought it was going to be scary. I was wrong. it was bloody and startling. but that is different. i read a review of "The Village" in the new york times and it said it was sort of ridiculous and ultimatley funny. and now i sort of want to see it, to see what the funny twist is. also it has adrien brody. this is the ultimate test for sara, will her love of da brody beat out her fear of the scary movie? or vica versa?
tomorrow i am making pie. blueberry if i am lucky. i looooooove pie. i also have to have a guitar lesson. YIPES!
oh but i just made my guitar binder (a month late) and it is so nice that it's done. hooray. i am going to go find some pretty stickers to stick to it.

the ones with hearts on the outside

ah ha. jon stewart. my mom has just discovered the daily show and it is a good thing. today i ate: 3 yogurts. one was a "nouriche," those are weird. especially since people eat them as "meals." i havent had meat for a little while. dairy. dairy. dairy. i would be a *terrible* vegan. TERRIBLE. i was on time for art class today, exactly, but it was as if i was late, because everyone was already in their places. i just got excited because ryan kaldari had a link to www.bushesagainstbush.com on his livejournal. and i thought it was for feisty females. but it is for people named bush. um. now i am dissapointed. i visited kari and returned her readables. we were chillaxing on the couch and i briefly mentioned my tasty yogurt snack. she suddenly sat up, "oh no!" "huh?" "I HAVE TO EAT TWO YOGURTS!" apparently her dad said they were going to expire and that she had to eat them for lunch. but she didnt. so then we went to her kitchen and prepared to eat yogurt. but wait... they werent actually about to expire. they were, in fact, good until she came back. but, eager to please, we gobbled them. or whatever you do to yogurts.
then i surprised mark at his work.
oooh. and then i went to a shows meeting (after eating a cheese sandwich) and 4 people left on bikes. and i sort of felt like a kid in the neighborhood. and ben and i took an alternaroute. when my mother came home from yoga we watched jon stewart.
sorry this is not as exciting as i wish it was.
but tomorrow and saturday i am staffing shows.
so maybe i'll have a good story.
about earplugs or mohawks or pie.

gnight.

some postman is gonna cry.

yo ho ho. erm.
wow. ok.
so today i went to art class. and it was sort of dull.
i looked at my bangs while brushing my teeth and thought: "my hair looks emo" i guess that happens when it doesnt get washed. um. no offense.
songs you like are always more special when heard by chance on the radio. i have an idea for a shirt. an oldish idea.
i like the new presidents song.
my bracelet that i'm making in art is about how kari and i and others used to play "trap the crazy eyeballs" in her basement. of all the memories i couldve chosen.
i met sarah b's doggies. they are so nice and adorable.
mark came over for dinner. my bike is all lovely again.  tomorrow i have to wash my haar.
this is being wrapped up.

      ( 10:46 PM )
nombril, nombrillitos

so today was sort of sad.
for starters. i um... crashed my bike. it was really um... well you see, i havent fell off a bike while just riding normally (i.e. not down gravelly hills) for a long time. but i was sort of screwing around. and then i fell off. and said "shit" a lot. but my handlebars, which are of the straight variety, jabbed me in an area that can only be described accurately by saying "breastbone." but i am not poultry. not a poultry. not a poultry. so that was scary. and then my handle bars were crooked. so my bike was useless. so i went into the beautiful women's bathroom and was sort of dissapointed that if i had to fall off my bike i didn't get an awesome looking wound. but then low and behold! a handlebar imprint! right under where my bikini top would be! hooray! sort of!
then there was art class. and the projector wasnt working. i think that upset my teacher a lot. she looked sad. but her necklaces are so pretty.
OH: ok, so brad smith of hume walked into class gulping down a double shot espresso or whatever that starbucks drink in the sleek can is. the one with the commercial where the guys sing. "dan, dan, DAN, DAN." hooray.
after art class it was off to the quad for a picnic with batchla, douchey lee and the tessinator. we were pretty looking and we saw alex cahill. he was at jazz band camp. in case anyone cares. then it was ice cream time and then rentertainment time and then goodbye friends, hello people of the 6W orange bus! hello, hello! then walk walk home. then "hello kari, oh yes, mooshi moushi, yes, mos def, on the, yes, uh huh, bye then" and then i walked (!) her house and we chillaxed. then hello 6E orange bus! hello me having a discman (or discperson as my mom says)! then, hidiho mommy! hello office mates of my mommy! hello business suits! then "where is the bike?"
drive, drive, drive
there!
many anxious blocks later we are at champaign cycle company and the bike is still in the back! not out on the road! rejoice!
hello big strong bike repair man! "i called" "oh yes, you fell" i then witnessed the miracle of strength, i.e. him straddling my front wheel and bending my handlebars back with brute force. WOw. then he told me i was wise when i admitted to being stupid for fooling around with gears. but i just thought that a wise person wouldnt dick around.
onward through salad dinner to fair with kari jean. WHY HELLO, maureen's mom! ---> kari and i sneaking up on maureen and jumping and yelling ---> mysterious male being astonished.
MAUREEN'S FREUND!
i ate a caramel apple.

goodnight moon.

      ( 8:27 PM )
"dein haut is weicht wie baby popos!"

i am tired. (tard). here is a list of stuff that was accomplished while i was away:
  1. i finished my english books
  2. i got hella tan (it was completely an accident)
  3. i talked lots of german
  4. i slept in
  5. i taped my [box]
  6. i saw two different sets of fireworks

there is other stuff. but it is tip  top secret. except this: 7. some of our friends now own a hookah. "j'ai des amis qui mettent du shit dedans, mais c'est deglasse." I also spent oodles of time with my parental units. Thankfully I have large sunglasses that hide the vast amount of eye rolling that occured at times. German camp was nice. I recieved two enjoyable letters from Mark and Titty Ann (aka the batchalin toxin). I saw fireworks on the beach. I striss stressed. I rocked out with Rufus. (a very very valuable experience-- to be treasured always). OH and-- what number am i on?-- how about: 11. I played botchi ball and failed to score a single point. "HO HE! what a good hearing." I also got some nice german music. I was, however, plagued with strange dreams. and some were vair scary. IE me driving. I am not going to get my license on time, how official. I will instead make myself my own license for something non official and then maybe start a secret club to make myself feel better when *someone* says "Hey, cordelia, do you have your license yet?-- no? Oh, but arent you older than me?--That's what I thought, so you're just a big slacker?" or something equally tactless. 10 points if you know what i'm talking about.

i have made a discovery about my father. my mom told me not to say anything. but my dad was like "why not? there are worse things written about me on the internet." cha. alzo.

whoops. hooray for being back and feeling... sub par.

tomorrow: a list of stuff i need to do, also a recap of art class... which may or may not begin at 10:30.
