Armagedon, let the light in.

So for the past few days I've been listening to lots and lots of Alkaline Trio. For a bit, I was afraid I'd get sick of them and I kept thinking I should listen to other stuff. But I don't really want to. So that's it. I saw a clip of some guy trying to jump his mountain bike and breaking both arms. And the announcer was like "This is funny, but no for John who has broken both his arms" but it wasn't funny. He wasn't even wearing a helmet. It was dumb. Just plain dumb.
In other news, I called some elected officials even though the white house wasn't answering. Dumb white house. Our computer literacy group hasn't been called up to talk to the computer teachers which a little unsettling. Some big dumb has the CD I checked out on hold. This is bad because it is due today. And I can't bring it in today so it will be overdue. Damn. My dad still hasn't noticed the googly eyes on my computer.
Today was a fun day. Tomorrow guarantees slightly gross wealth.

Put your head back on straight.

Last night on hump it or dump it they played the bestest song. "United States of Whatever" by Steven Lynch. Truly killer. Today in math I was drawing pictures of my friends from camp and when I drew Sigi I started snickering and people were confused. You see, I was remembering when he called his fat "untamed muscle" and our play where he was the sponge and I was the water. "Ich liebe die Wasser, ich muss sie haben" and we broke out into song and dance. And how I was putting my dress on over my clothing and the Finnish people were eyeing me and they were weird. And then we had to page Sigi before the play because we didn't know where he was and it turned out he was buying a pickle on a stick. That was funny. And then Korrina and I got heat rash and we went to the nurse's and she gave us spray on aloe and we slumbered. And played the top secret snap game. It was a fun summer.*winky, winky*

I-Tag

I should really shower soon. But I have been reading the nation and I'm all riled up. It's nice and liberal, a refreshing change from the news gazette. I watched a documentary about birth control and the liberation of women on PBS. It was Ok. Then I listened to the biv and made my bed. I had a trillion things to say but showering seems much more fun (and I forgot them).

Like a bird not liking birdseed

My cat is grooming on my bed. I just got back from girl scouts we dyed eggs. Today when Mark was over Cameron came to get my German book. The stupid belt loops on my pants are dysfunctional. But it really doesn't matter anymore. Yesterday SNL was jammed packed with stars and my parents had people over for indian food dinner. Yay, Rainer Maria is on the radio. I like them.
On saturday I went to protest and I saw Leon and Ms. Linder. It was cold and fun. The drummer dude was there and so were the boys from Urbana who run around and sing and hold signs. Did you know that it was IHSA wrestling weekend. GAH! Neither did I. They were going by in vans and buses. One van held up a sign that said "Bomb Iraq" and the other said "Show your boobs" I didn't. Dumb wrestlers. Ms. Linder was handing out leaflets. Maybe next week I'll go to the meeting. Maybe.
I had fun at art class. And then my lesson with Sean was Rockin. He only made fun of me a little but then we listened to Morbid Angel. And he played along but he shouldn't have because I wanted to hear the words.
This was a big dumb post. Elizabeth doesn't know how to wash dishes.

Backbone.

So... In Bio we watched a movie about AIDS and at one point these two gay men kissed and it was really beautiful. I don't know why but they were happy and so was I. I gave Herr W some Vitamin C throat losenges today because he couldn't talk very well. After school, Mark and I and some grown ups went to House of Gourmet for dinner. It was good but I think it had MSG because I got a headache. Then we went to the game. Anthony from shows was there that was nice because he is fun. We lost both games but not by very much. And they were fun to watch. After P.E. today I saw my mommy. After the games Mark and I waited outside Kenney for my mom. We (I) danced around and sang Ramones songs. Then his knee hurt my leg but I am OK now. Also, he almost dropped me. But it is all good because I do not like Randy Goldman.
But wait..... Here's the best part... THEN WE WENT TO.........

OSCO and we saw

WILLISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Yes, the backbone himself. Mark and I had a stuffed animal war while my mom got dividers. It was funny. All people were buying was like Bacardi and stuff and we were buying DIVIDERS. Oh god, I really have too much fun sometimes. But now I'm going to go shower. And then sleep. and then wake up and stare lovingly into Wump's eyes. Or maybe just the wall.
What? *I* make no sense. NO you make no sense.
Out like a light.

TOP SECRET LOVERS

Does someone ever do something to you that is so unjust, unfair that you *need* to let loose and punch them in the stomach so hard that they vomit? But then you think, "I'm not going to sink to their level" and just forget it.
Ho hum. I have to bake Mr. Vaughn cookies now that he told me when his birthday is. (next thursday).
Today during 4th period Tom and I were pretending to be flying squirells. Sara was a flying racoon. Tom drove the fire truck and I operated the sirens.
At dinner, my mom and I were discussing how Willis (from Osco) is the backbone of Osco. And then my dad talked about the woman with no affect.
sorry. so, so sorry for all that you've done to yourself.
I read more Jane Eyre today. I like it. I like you.

Hot, Raunchy Potato Sacks.

Bla bla bla blabla bla bl bla bla. I watched a movie. You get to know later. I get to sleep now. I am reading Jane Eyre and neglecting my blog. All I want to do is read and play with string, read and play with string. And save the world. I wish I could fly. I want a cape. A red cape. Or it could be purple. I like purple. I've always liked purple. I have been having oodles of nosebleeds and it's gotten to the point that I just blow my nose so they end sooner. But still, it is my fault. Tomorrow, I will look back at this post and realize that it didn't make any sense. But you make perfect sense.
Oh, c'est la vie.

      ( 9:24 PM )
Something is wrong beneath your glittery lips.

I just went to an anti-war teach-in. It was interesting. I was stuffed up and every time I coughed my mom would offer me more cough drops. I would like some chocolate milk or hot chocolate right now but it will keep me up and since I am mostly done with my homework (three more pages of dumb english book left) I could go to sleep soon.
Hm. Today I had 2 peeps in a row. SCANDALOUS. They are tender and soft "when you mash 'um" (ellen foster). I offered my dad a peep but he declined because they were bright blue. If that isn't racist I don't know what is. When I was little my parents and I voyaged to Washington D.C. and it snowed an inch and everything was paralysed. I don't think they are coping well with their 12 inches now.
On the radio there was a Texan talking about how he was wearing a flannel shirt and it was like 57 degrees in Houston. And I was mad because I was eating dinner and I was cold.
Tom and I are now discussing bacon parties and concerts.

More often than not, hot-- hotter than hot in a lot of good ways.

Yay! 18 inch voice now interrupted occassionally with gargley bla bla. The protest was cold. Very cold. But still, over 125 people came. Some silly people parked in the TiresPlus parking lot. And then Mr. TiresPlus came out and yelled that he needed the van moved. But they didn't move it so one of the TiresPlus people double parked and trapped the van. Then a bunch of my fellow protesters slid the van into the spot next to it and it was unstuck so it drove away. I got a yardsign but the ground is frozen.
I am at school now. I really want my history and english papers back. Zaggiddy zoo. Bobim.
Then on sunday mark came over and we had a slamming good time. He needs to update his blog. Last night I woke up at 4:15 but then I went back to bed.

Waste no time, make a switch. Throw him in the nearest ditch.

I just glued googly eyes onto my computer. I don't think my dad will like it so I must make sure he doesn't see them for a long time so when he does I can say "Oh, those have been there forever." I have an easter chick named moogli.
Today when I woke up I couldn't talk and I was afraid I had laryngitis. Now I can talk but only in a 5.5 inch voice. *sigh*
I'm going to go eat sme lunch and then protest. Having a 5.5. inch voice makes it *really* hard to yell downstairs.
Anyways, off to go stand out in the cold.

Visions of pills that put you in a loving trance, making it possible for all white boys to dance.

Yahooza. I got back from the dance, knitted, practiced guitar and worked a little on my puzzle. The dance was nice. BUt then Marky Mark (the rapper, of course) left early with Tom who seemed a bit sad. So for the last dance I asked Max Goldberg but he didn't want to and he seemed really put upon so I danced with ariana instead (he ended up dancing with emma).
Dan didn't play what tess and I requested but he did give me a CD and a bop on the nose as compensation. Boys are funny dancers. T-rex. I refuse to say more.
Today in Henna Class I did pretty Henna on my hand. TOmorrow art class is canceled so I will sleep late. Then I will go see Seany-Wany and then I will go protest.
It's time to get snuggly. Go. Today I gave and recieved pretty valentines. I liked them. I refuse (again) to say any more less I reveal the top secret information. And now, a convo from mike i. and david c.:
D.C.: Stop picking your nose M.I.: I'm not picking it, it itches! D.C.: Yea, on the inside.

cordelia is sold to a woman for a pig and some liquor then forced to wear a collar that her new "owner" can shock her with when she doesn't obey

I refuse to tell you where that's from. Ha. When I went to the Library I lost my ID but then I went to the lost and found and someone had returned it. What a nice honest person. They didn't have the book I wanted at the library so I got other stuff. Sean will be happy. They have lots of computers.
It is gross when people look at porn in public places. Right next to little kids.

It's over, you're dead to me.

I spent most of my first free period searching fruitlessly for some mp3s online. When will I ever learn? I've also been thinking differently. But I'm not going to get into that because it's like a sleepover game. Hm. Well, it's wednesday. Last night I watched part of a Polish/French movie "White" by the same guy who did "Le Double Vie de Veronique." Which was sad. The lead in this movie looks like a mouse. My mom agrees.
It's time I got back and I don't even know how I got off the track.

When I was a child, I was a Jedi,
When I was a child, I was a Jedi,
When I was a child, I was a Jedi.

When I was a child, I was a Jedi,
When I was a child, I was a Jedi,

I'll get you and your little dog too.

Well. Alyssa and I had more fun with darts in German and they didn't work on some people because some people have thick skin... LIKE ELEPHANTS.
So. In history today my pencil case fell off my desk and that vexed Mr. Vaughn so he made me put it away. Apparently, he is under the impression that this has happened before. Hm. I think he's just unhappy that such an ugly thing is allowed to sit on my desk. Because my pencil case is ugly. But I love it. Tomorrow almost none of our teachers will be at school. And Ms. Guthrie will sub for Ms. Linder. I hope we get JIM for a substitute sometime tomorrow because he is entertaining.
I still have to do my dumb bio, you big dumb.

*ptoo ptoo*

Today in German Alyssa and I had great fun with some tranquilizer darts.
I wrote a whole lot in my diary and now I am "doing" my history. I hate flowcharts. I had a strange dream but I can't tell you about it, you wouldn't understand. We are out of pears. That is sad. I will have to find some other fruit. Today I tried to type five but it came out as "fiber." You know how when you don't see someone for a long time you forget what the look like? But then you are sure that you'll recognize their face. And then you do and it's like "whoa" and then "hmmm..." and then "yay..."
Ok, maybe it's just me. I am *very* sad because I realized that I left my earrings at Batia's. My favorite earrings, the little silver hoops that stay in through anything and make loud clicking noises. Boo. They are on her counter. I hope she finds them.
I am sleepy and I still have to do that dumb Bio.

      ( 4:39 PM )
IT WAS ENORMOUS!

Do you ever wish someone had a blog so you could read everything that goes on in their sick, twisted mind. I do, sometimes. Other times I think, maybe it's better not to know what people are thinking judging from some of the blogs I've read in my time.
So, on with my story of the weekend.
Saturday I woke up and went to art class at nine. It was oodles of fun, we had cool chairs, we were allowed to use text, our teacher wasn't an evil person and Sara and I bought hot chocolate (like always except this time I remembered my money). Then I didn't see Sean because he went "out of town" for the "weekend." Or at least that's what "he" said. So my Mom and I picked up Batia and we went to the protest. Next week I think I will go direct from my guitar lesson since it takes soooooo long to get there with all the stupid mall traffic. I recognized people that drove by, Max, some evil former edison girls, someone from sixth grade named Olivia and a person I met at the pool. My sign wasn't as good as before. And I couldn't switch with anyone. Then Batia's mom picked us up and we went to world harvest where we bought Henna and dyed our hair. It was about 10:30 when we finished because it had to stay on for four hours. So then I went home, watched The Secret Lives of Altar Boys and tumbled into bed.
On sunday, I did a little homework, my mom did Harvard interviews and Mark came over. Then he left and we had a girl scout meeting. Then I wrote my paper and studied a little but not enough. Oh well. Tomorrow I have a German test. GAHHHH.
It was raining on my walk to my mom's office and that was pleasant but now my coat is wet and smells like feathers. BLEH. This friday there's a Solo Mono show that I think I might attend. I went to the baseball team meeting today and now I've decided not to audition for the musical which is a little unhappy but not too bad since I can't really sing.

      ( 8:58 PM )
Strawberries and blood and a long walk home.

Yo ho.
Hm. Friday I went to Za's with Tom, Ben, Mark and Matt. Matt's girl was supposed to be there but she was "sick." So we called this piece of pepper Aimee and threatened to pass her around so everyone could have a bite. But we didn't. Dinner was fun. I had a zesty meatball sandwich and the cheese had a weird consistency. Then we went to the IMC for the concert. So we were there, they were reading about panda porn and all of a sudden Lauri and Robert Ratcliffe walked through the door. They came for RHV. Two bands played before RHV. They were fine but I only watched a little since I was conserving all my energy. In the middle of the second band, Robert and Lauri came out of the back room (where the concerts are held)
RR: Man, Mark, this kind of sucks.
me: Robert, you kind of suck.
RR: Shut up Cordelia
Mark: Don't tell my girlfriend to shutup.
HAHAHAHAHA. So Lauri took her cell phone out of her purse and made a call, and they left.
Speaking of the people at the concert, there was this kid who seemed to be there with his big brother or something. It seemed like he was just watching everyone and trying to figure out how to be like them. Which is fine, but it was weird. Ben looked at him with lots of disdain. When he wanted to get past Ben to the couch he flopped his hand against Ben's arm and Ben's expression was very funny. Matt said that he wanted to beat the shit out of him just for the heck of it. He could have, this was like an 11 year old. There were several soccer mom types patroling back and forth trying to look inconspicious. But the bright lipstick, grey streaks and yellow windbreaker said it all.
RHV was a blast, I liked it a lot. I said hi to Tobin and David and they remembered me. Our Friends from St. Thomas Moore were there and I realized that Anthony, the very short guy, was on the basketball team last year. I saw him playing against the subbie boys, he was the one who fell all the time. We made fun of him but he is actually nice.
there was more to write but it can wait.
