Probably the most serious academic fraud in history. Alternatively some describe it as normal research. At least the English language has a new term, "Mike's Trick" - changing the base of measurement part way through a study when the results don't match expectations.Oregon

Sorry, that would be "Mikes Nature Trick" named after Michael Mann of Penn State. Apparently such practice is acceptable at Penn State and East Anglia.Oregon

While some suggest "trick" might merely mean a solution, others have indicated "trick" should be considered in prostitution lingo ie you need lots of tricks to keep the cash flow going, over $20 million worth.Oregon

Lefkowitz needs a link to find the biggest academic fraud scandal in modern history.  If it doesn't involve someone's dick and his butt he doesn't know anything about it.  

Apparently the brain trusts at DD didn't know that "hide the decline" had anything to do with the so called climategate. Some raw genius over there. I guess only the stupid ones are left.

What's the deal with the Gollin guy? On a thread about "hide the decline" at DD he posts his life history. He had an opportunity to be outraged at East Anglia and Penn State for absolutely faking data. I guess it's always about him.
