So the DD drug spammer is likely either a Ukrainian soccer fan or a Clash/Joe Strummer fan. I am the latter, which is why I recognized the gag. Like most things that don't involve the government telling you what to do, nobody at DD knows or cares. If we hadn't ridiculed it here they might not even have noticed.

Which is a good argument against vandalizing DD, however creatively or accurately it is done. There's nothing going on there, nobody reads it, so why give anyone a reason to look in? Let Gus enjoy his slumber, while he ponders his overwhelming financial and legal problems. The spammers will bury it, the weeds will grow, and eventually it will disappear.

Melanie Loots, the university "Conflict of Interest Officer," needs to be fired, along with Herman and White. Day after day, conflict of interest after conflict of interest, and what is she doing about it? Same as Herman and White--nothing!
