Quote:How did Winnie Mandela's murder trial work out?
I read a lot about/from the 'truth' commission years back.
I remember she was charged with murdering one or more African activists with her own hands; if I'm not mistaken she shot one 'oppressed African brother' in the face with a gun.
The fact that the government took the official website down speaks volumes, because at the beginning it was supposed to last forever.
Quote:They would be ignored by everyone and sell all of 3 copies of their book.
In fact I first learnt about it from a book in Russian.
'Whites out of Africa' typically receives benign to exalted press reviews...try with 'Africans out of Europe' and you'll have a billion lefty loons rolling on the floor retching in agony.
From first world country to 'intersection car hijacking' paradise...

Len, J. Dovelos and others of this group denounced their SRU degrees publicly when in about 2004 it became more than obvious through an official announcement by the Liberian embassy that SRU's MoE accreditation was phony.
Well... even John Bear 'denounced' in turn all the 'unaccredited' schools he had created, operated or promoted.
Even George Bush & Tony Blair (the Abbott & Costello version of 1930s dictators ) denounced the 'mass destruction weapons' item as inaccuracy fed by unscrupulous secret services.
It's much like 1980s wrestling when 'faces' (good guys) turn 'heels'(bad guys) or the other way round...
Well, the above post could have been written by George Gollin. Gollin uses similar insinuations for people who may have had or being rumored to have had some past association with a suspect organization, or been at one time involved in suspect activities. No matter what they do, they should be condemned forever, hounded, denounced and ridiculed, that's the Gollin doctrine, isn't it?

Hey, I'm the Canadian diplomat and statesman. Well maybe not a diplomat. Okay, not a statesman either. I'll let you be the murderer.

Hey, I didn't mean this to refer to you personally.
Speaking about Gollin, read his article in International Higher Education
http://www.degreediscussion.com/forums/v...f=5&t=5965 pages 5 and 6.
It doesn't matter what you think of the man, he has the most accurate info about SRU and knows what he is talking about. After you read that, just think whether or not it was possible for people with the best intentions to be duped not only to obtain degrees from this entity, but even to become members of its faculty, without fully realizing the true nature of the entity until the very end.
Considering the sophistication of this entity which becomes more than obvious in Gollin's article, is it fair to put all people involved with it in the same basket and continue to hound them like they were criminals or something?

You will never...ever find a promoter or customer of a degree mill admitting they wanted to pull a fast'n'easy one.

this one claims to be a victim; another may claim he 'saw accreditation papers'; a third how they responded from Uganda that the 'university' was accredited...
I am highly skeptical...

Janet Killen is clearly a victim, she didn't purchase her degree, she worked hard for it only to discover that her degree had no value.
And what about RA universities that accepted SRU graduates in Ph.D. programs? And professional associations like APA? This has not been mentioned by anyone, but if RA universities and professional associations were duped by SRU and its phony accreditation, why not ordinary people too?

how would you know she didn't mean to pull a fast one?
I wasn't there.

What we are basically talking about is fake.
Like fake money many -if not most- people accept it because they are clueless.
Even the White House hired people with dodgy degrees.
Were they really in the dark or did some political backstage deals take place?
What basically happened was that millists paid a few Africans to steal embossed paper and other Africans to answer the phone in the university's name.
If it hadn't been fake it wouldn't be over by now.
I always say dodgy degrees ok if one really wants them, but please let's stop pretending they're real.
PS: I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree here.

Len is a useless piece of shit and never has been nor will be a real professor.
